First sisters trip to Tunisia, the overall experience was really good. It makes a difference to where you stay and the people you interact with. People in Tunis are really nice, polite and helpful. Our First experience was with Dar El Jeld. We felt so welcomed by the staff. I would like to personally thank few of the staff. Emily for being really accommodating, always has a smile on her face, very helpful and informative. Adul Kadir, Firouz and Yousuf, the security guys, they helped us when we needed to go anywhere, at times they went with us so we did not get lost and Arslan, he was the driver for the hotel. He went out of his way to accommodate to our needs. Made the children comfortable to a point they considered him family and referred to Dar El Jeld as home. Lastly the receptionist in the spa (forgot her name) she was amazing. They are all truely an asset to the hotel. I will definitely recommend this place. In the heart of Madina with the market right next to the hotel. We felt very safe at all times. Rooms are very nice and spacious, very clean, scenic view from rooftop. You just can't go wrong with this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

This is a really stylish and boutique hotel located in Medina in Tunis. The building used to be a Palace in the past, so you can feel really special here, rooms are nice, big and decorated, beds are comfortable, breakfast does not offer a very big choice, but everything is fresh and tasty, reception staff is very friendly and helpful, really a great place to stay!

Beautiful house converted into a hotel with 5 rooms. Well decorated, cozy and managed by a welcoming couple always ready to accommodate our needs. Great location. And incredible value for money. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Located centrally in the Tunis souk, my father and I loved our stay. Surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants, it makes for a great night out. Clean, lavish and traditional hotel operated by a smiling, hard working team. Our room was extremely nice with air condition, a clean bathroom and strong Wi-Fi. The dining area is also well maintained and kitchen staff are super sweet - even serving us extra food without us even asking! The rooftop is also next level, where staff brought us tea and pastries while we enjoyed the sunset over the city. Amazing staff. Amazing hotel.

This hotel is such a great find in Tunis! Not only if the location superb, literally at the entrance to the Medina where shops and food vendors are steps away, but it’s also such a pretty and unique hotel. The decor is gorgeous and the views overlooking the Medina square is great for people watching. Service is great as well! The staff is very helpful. Everything felt very safe as well. I highly recommend this unique stay while in Tunis!

Marouane, Shiraz, and their staff were wonderful hosts! We enjoyed our time with them very much. Marouane took care of anything we needed, from dinner reservations to summoning drivers to walking us where we needed to go! He even helped us navigate with Bolt and was eager to please us throughout our 4 days with them. Our only problem was that they had no air conditioning and it was very hot. But they provided a fan that helped a lot. The room was also very dark, but we managed just the same! The location is great if you want to be inside the Medina.

GGuest UserFirst sisters trip to Tunisia, the overall experience was really good. It makes a difference to where you stay and the people you interact with. People in Tunis are really nice, polite and helpful. Our First experience was with Dar El Jeld. We felt so welcomed by the staff. I would like to personally thank few of the staff. Emily for being really accommodating, always has a smile on her face, very helpful and informative. Adul Kadir, Firouz and Yousuf, the security guys, they helped us when we needed to go anywhere, at times they went with us so we did not get lost and Arslan, he was the driver for the hotel. He went out of his way to accommodate to our needs. Made the children comfortable to a point they considered him family and referred to Dar El Jeld as home. Lastly the receptionist in the spa (forgot her name) she was amazing. They are all truely an asset to the hotel. I will definitely recommend this place. In the heart of Madina with the market right next to the hotel. We felt very safe at all times. Rooms are very nice and spacious, very clean, scenic view from rooftop. You just can't go wrong with this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

Marouane, Shiraz, and their staff were wonderful hosts! We enjoyed our time with them very much. Marouane took care of anything we needed, from dinner reservations to summoning drivers to walking us where we needed to go! He even helped us navigate with Bolt and was eager to please us throughout our 4 days with them. Our only problem was that they had no air conditioning and it was very hot. But they provided a fan that helped a lot. The room was also very dark, but we managed just the same! The location is great if you want to be inside the Medina.

GGuest UserLocated centrally in the Tunis souk, my father and I loved our stay. Surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants, it makes for a great night out. Clean, lavish and traditional hotel operated by a smiling, hard working team. Our room was extremely nice with air condition, a clean bathroom and strong Wi-Fi. The dining area is also well maintained and kitchen staff are super sweet - even serving us extra food without us even asking! The rooftop is also next level, where staff brought us tea and pastries while we enjoyed the sunset over the city. Amazing staff. Amazing hotel.

GGuest UserThis is a really stylish and boutique hotel located in Medina in Tunis. The building used to be a Palace in the past, so you can feel really special here, rooms are nice, big and decorated, beds are comfortable, breakfast does not offer a very big choice, but everything is fresh and tasty, reception staff is very friendly and helpful, really a great place to stay!

The price was great, but so was the hotel! Located close to the Medina, there was plenty to do within walking distance from the hotel. A wonderful and helpful staff, delightful cafe and a building with unique architecture and comfortable rooms. I was very pleasantly surprised with this very affordable little hotel!

GGuest UserBeautiful house converted into a hotel with 5 rooms. Well decorated, cozy and managed by a welcoming couple always ready to accommodate our needs. Great location. And incredible value for money. Would definitely recommend and come back!
