Find the Cheap Galesburg Hotels

The room had odors. Everything else was good. To the manager at the Best Western Hotel, Springfield, IL. The ROOM HAD AN ODOR. As soon as we entered the room I caught the smell of stale cigarette smoke. My wife said she could smell it too. We do not smoke. I immediately called the office. Someone came and sprayed. The problem was solved. The linens on the bed also had an odor problem. It did not smell of cigarette smoke. My wife did not realize there was an issue till after we went to bed. If we had known earlier we would have called and asked for the linens to be changed, but we were ready in bed. The next morning, after a very restless night of practically no sleep, due to the odor, my wife said it was as if someone had sprayed the linens directly with some kind of substance. You see, the night before she had moved the extra hotel pillows to a chair next to the TV. She had brought her own pillow. To get something out of the bottom of her bag, she then placed a couple of her blouses on top of the hotel pillows the night before. The next morning my wife could smell the same odor on her clothes as were on the pillow cases. We are not asking for a refund, but we are asking for the problem to be corrected. We would like to stay there again should we be in Galesburg at a future date. We feel it is necessary for the management to be aware of the situation.
