Two different stays in a little over a week and both stays were decidedly lacking. A Hilton Diamond member and sorely disappointed with the condition of the accommodation, value for cost, and treatment of a loyal customer were all less than acceptable. The room, basically clean, yet the condition of bathrooms was barely acceptable. Broken hinges on shower door, cracked, unclean grout, poor sealant application over broken, cracked grout and other areas within the bath area. As a Diamond member expecting quiet clean rooms and given deficient rooms near/next to noisy traffic streets, not acceptable. This hotel charges $$$ for a $ value.

The hotel garden is beautiful, the breakfast is fresh, the restaurant is beautiful and you can eat it outside. The room is a row of townhouses, we live on the second floor. The only downside is that the bed is too soft.

Thank you Cindy, Sarah and Gabe. You guys made it special for my boyfriend on his birthday! I appreciate the kindness and welcoming! We loved the food at breakfast and dinner. I wish I could remember our bartender’s name on Monday 29th, she made great conversation and made us feel welcomed. The hotel is 12-15 mins away to most restaurants, I will for sure come back when is sunnier:)

I stay in Courtyards a lot as a Bonvoy member. What distinguishes this one for me was its local feel. Expected the standard Courtyard architecture. What is found was a lobby with nice Spanish- style decor - high ceilings with dark wood beams, colorful Spanish tiles, and a traditional Spanish fireplace. Rooms were conventional for Courtyard, but I appreciated the local feel of the hotel overall.

It's been about 30 years since I've stayed in a Motel 6 when they were a modest $23 a night and Tom Bodette was airing his homey midwestern voice over the airwaves, stating ”We'll leave the light on for you.” They did leave the light on, but not the hot water heater. I took a city water temperature shower in the white fiberglass shower stall, and passed out in a moderately comfortable full size bed. The guy behind the desk, who looked like he'd been on a steady diet of Nacho flavored Doritos for every meal since birth, gave me the wrong key card, and I opened the door of a guy who was sleeping in his darkened room who uttered, ”HEY!!” and I quickly apologized. I'm just glad he didn't have a gun, because dying in a Motel 6 would look really crappy on my obituary. I like the remodeled look of the rooms with it's retro-mod TV console and decor, cheap as it is, is an attempt at a certain aesthetic other than cheap. I promise, I will never return!!

We went to tour colleges. We arrived at 3:30 and our room was still not ready. Overall it was a great experience, A very great breakfast well organized And the girls in the kitchen were very helpful. Housekeeping was so polite. The location is great And it was a very safe area. We will stay here again if the opportunity arises
We stayed in room 308 (1 Bedroom Suite) the week of September 12, 2022. The hotel and room are in great condition. All of the employees that we had contact with were very nice. There was always lots of parking available in the hotel parking lot and it's very well lit. There isn't much in the immediate area of the hotel but it's perfectly safe and only a 15 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara. However, the bathroom sink is in the bedroom. It's not actually inside the bathroom with the toilet and shower/tub. I personally really dislike this design because if one person is sleeping you can't use the bathroom sink without waking them up. But what's even worse about the design of the bathroom is that there isn't a single towel rack or hook anywhere near the bathroom sink or the toilet or the shower/tub or on either side of the bathroom door to hang a towel. In addition, I understand that the room that I'm assigned may not look exactly like the photos of the 1 Bedroom Suite on the hotel website but the front desk said that the 1 Bedroom Suite pictured on the hotel website (The bathroom sink is actually inside the bathroom with the toilet and the shower/tub. There are towel racks in the bathroom.) isn't available to anyone. In other words, none of the 1 Bedroom Suites actually look like the photos of the 1 Bedroom Suite on the hotel website. So we resorted to using the ”closet” rods as a towel rack for all of our bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. We also took a square freestanding storage unit from the ”closet” area and placed it next to to the shower/tub to put our towels on so we can reach for them when getting out of the shower. This room is handicap accessible but that should have absolutely nothing to do with having towel racks or not. Everyone needs towel racks whether they're in a wheelchair or not. FYI the metal bars that you see in the photos that I posted are grab bars, not towel racks. I've stayed in hotels that don't have enough towel rack but I've never stayed in a hotel that doesn't have any towel racks at all. This seems like a major design flaw. Considering that we paid $366.00/night on average, this was extremely disappointing and inconvenient.
Staying at Extended Stay and I am very satisfied with my room, and that there is a kitchen and they allow dogs. Some of the rooms are dated, but everything is functional. My room is spacious, great tv, kitchen has plenty of storage space, towels and sheets are clean, full size refrigerator. Check in was easy and Cindy has made sure that I am comfortable and happy here! Great rates compared to any other hotels in the area.
Beautiful grounds, nice pool and hot tub. Great location for the Santa Barbara area to enjoy the attractions, museums and sites. Close to shopping, beach and many historic attractions. Also located near freeway making travel to and from the Ramada Santa Barbara convenient.

MmayrThe sea is wide and blue, walking on the trestle bridge to the sky, seagulls fly over the wings from time to time and moan. The beach is big and attracts many surfers.
