Find the Cheap Joplin Hotels

The staff was over the top friendly! The beds were comfy, breakfast was great and location was great. I got a 2 room suite for $300 a night. The carpets were stained (judging by all the dogs there, I can only imagine what some of the stains are), the ”tiles” in the kitchen were poking up, causing a trip hazard, so I had to warn my kids to keep shoes on and not trip on the tile. One bathroom tub had a leaky faucet, upon arrival there was about 2” of standing water in the tub. The tub didn't drain well, so when we finished a shower we were standing in water about shin high. The shower head was leaky and water sprayed everywhere, so we had to get extra towels for the floor. I inquired about the hot tub (one of the bigger reasons for booking) before booking and was told it was open and functioning. When we got there, there wasn't even water in the hot tub. Pulled out the fold out couch and there was popcorn and what looked like pretzels under the couch, and shards of broken glass in front of the couch. I'm not usually a complainer and know ”things” happen, but for $300/night I hoped the room would at least be clean.

I don't even know where to start with this review. I do not know how this hotel has such good reviews… I will say first that I cannot recommend this hotel nor will I ever stay here again… We are Diamond members and stay at Hilton properties all the time! The housekeeping service at this hotel is in dire need of help!! When we got to our room, we noticed trash and finger or toenail clippings beside the couch, the carpet was stained very badly, the chair had horrible stains all over it along with the window coverings. We are pretty sure insect larvae by the bathroom on the floor and the showers were so dirty and disgusting. I immediately called the front desk to ask for another room. The lady working the desk came up to the room and gave us a key to the room next door and asked for me to check it while she was up there. We went together to the room and I barely walked in the room and she kept asking me if the room was good. I looked at the sheets and pillows on the bed and they looked okay. The carpet was not stained as bad. At this point, the lady was getting aggravated that I was checking everything so close and continued asking if that room was good. I went to the bathroom and there was hair in the shower. I immediately told her if we were to stay in that room the shower had to be cleaned. She walked in the hall and asked someone to bring cleaning supplies. She then cleaned the shower quickly. At that point, I told her we would be good. It was late at night and I did not feel like looking for a room somewhere else. We already had all our luggage brought up. After she left the room and upon closer inspection we found a plastic knife on the floor along with hair ties, cheerios cereal, what looked like pizza crust in several places. There was hair in the washcloth holder in the bathroom. We just made sure the grandkids did not touch that holder or the towels in it. Pictures attached of all that I described. My daughter and I then walked outside and the lady at the front desk asked if everything was good when we walked by her and I proceeded to show her the pictures and explained that this room was not much better than the first room. Not one time did she ever apologize for the lack of a clean room. We were not compensated at all for the dirty rooms, no apology, nothing to try and make the situation better other than we were offered two water bottles and a couple snacks that we already get because of our Diamond Member status. NO sleep that night because of how dirty the room was…. Steer clear of this one!!!!

Yikes! This is an old, cramped, run down hotel. The room seemed clean, yet had a smell. Breakfast was inadequate, not like other Quality Inns. They didn't have a pool. We knew that ahead of time, but it was just for a quick overnight stay. The town is very busy, lots of choices for restaurants. Wished we picked a different hotel. I regret having to be honest and say all this because the staff was very warm, friendly and helpful.

At 1 am, the front desk staff was very polite and the room was clean! The breakfast is a bit simple, but the overall is not bad, a successful business trip!

I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised by the hotel room. It was totally clean, in perfect condition, and recently remodeled in a very attractive modern style. The staff at check in and check out were pleasant and professional. The only minor negatives were: exterior entrances, no elevator, smallish room, and a skimpy breakfast. These are all minor issue and the important thing is the room was very clean and in perfect condition. I would gladly stay here again.

It is a budget friendly hotel that is right on the main drive in Joplin. Very close to Sam's club, Starbucks, Texas Roadhouse, and numerous other restaurants. If you want to stay in a hotel and not break the bank and also be close to all the Joplin has to offer, this is your place
