"So, there were no toiletries and they did not provide though we requested - simple toiletries like toothbrush, tooth paste and razors. This was unlike other hotels which we stayed in O'ahu and Kauai, they were given upon request and given daily knowing that you have requested the 1st day. The pillows were soft and when we requested for them, they came back with 'unavailable', though they managed to get them the next day. The room was made, except for the beds (interesting) and cup was not washed though we left it soaked by the basin for the ease of the housekeeper. The counter that provided beach towels closed by 5pm? The pool is quiet and dead. Haha. Its an average stay."

"The front desk receptionist was very upset. Although I requested to arrange twin beds in two rooms more than two months in advance, Ctrip obviously did not do its job well. Three generations of grandparents and grandchildren came out for vacation, but they only arranged two large beds. How could people sleep? Finally, after communicating with the front desk receptionist again and again, the problem was solved! It was not Ctrip customer service who helped me solve the problem! Remind guests who book overseas hotels that if you have any requirements for the room, it is best to communicate with Ctrip customer service by phone to confirm it! ! !"

"This resort is right next to the Kaanapali Beach, one of the best beaches in the whole wide world. We stayed in a oceanfront room, and the oceanview is stunting. The staffs are friendly, and we have a great time there."

"The hotel is a bit old, but the pool view is not bad. I stayed in a mountain view suite, and the price was 360 a night when I went there. But the room is really big! It is very convenient to have a living room and kitchen to heat a meal. If you can book an ocean view room for about 200 dollars. Still quite recommended."

"The location is OK, the hotel has a shuttle bus to the shopping center, about 7 or 8 minutes drive. But you can't walk, there is no sidewalk on the main road. The service is normal and the facilities are a little backward to be difficult to understand. As a four-star hotel, you don't provide toothpaste or water. You also need to buy it yourself. The convenience store of the hotel is not open 24 hours a day. It would be very troublesome if you did not rent a car. The overall hotel in Maoyi Island is much more expensive than other well-equipped islands such as Oahu Island, and things are not complete. "Very nice hotel right on the beach but lots of rocks there therefore have to walk a bit to get to a part of the beach with no rocks. Strong waves and currents in winter so not good for young kids or beginners swimmers but good for surfing and boogie boarding. You can see turtles swimming near the beach and further afar lots of whales from December to March. Hotel have many swimming pools (and one fun slide) but only like 3ft deep so good for kids but a bit boring for adults. Only one restaurant, it's Duke. And one small shop selling Starbucks coffee. Our unit was on 10th floor in the main building and had a big balcony with a beautiful view on West Maui Mountain. We had a very pleasant stay in this location and would love to come back!"

"The overall environment of the hotel is good, suitable for children; the rooms are large, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the supermarket is opposite the hotel. "The room is spacious, and the living room sofa can be converted into a large sofa bed, perfect for families with children. The hotel offers plenty of activities, but we spent most of our time exploring Maui by car (Road to Hana, Haleakala), so we didn't get to experience them much. Service-wise, it was not bad. I would definitely consider staying here again."
