DDaydream811919Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay! It was a joy to look out on the lake from our unit's window each morning while we ate breakfast. Unit was well equipped with kitchenette and spacious with a comfy king bed and room to relax in the main room. Grounds were well-kept with nice touches, and the easement access to the beach across the street was very nice. EV charging was really important to us, and they seem to manage the one J-1772 plug (they also have a Tesla charger). Service was friendly and responsive--we had to deal with some minor issues that were taken care of immediately.

550CrabbysamDid not expect the four star quality of this hotel. It was modern with a terrific pool. Best pool ever seen at any hotel and not crowded. The reception was warm and the room very convenient. It was on a second floor but entered from car to that floor. Just down the hall a very nice bar and grill. Breakfast was to order along with a nice buffet. Mostly modern and welcoming. Worth a stay on way along I 80 between Reno and Sacramento. Auburn also is a town with fantastic food.

With the new improvements to the rooms, you get a great deal for the money, with breakfast, pool, jacuzzi all included….I paid 162.00 for a lovely, very clean King size bed room. Staff at front desk extremely friendly and helpful.

Mmktraveler99Stayed a few nights for business travel. Facility is clean and well maintained. Service from front desk, housekeeping and breakfast area was outstanding. Room was spacious with in room safe and plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable with upscale linens. Breakfast buffet was really good with a large variety of choices. Location is near many restaurants, but not really in walking distance. Would stay there again.

I have been at Towneplace Suites for awhile due to Medical and Personal reasons. Heidi (GM), Taylor(Assistant Manager), Front Desk Staff, Kitchen, and Housekeeping have been amazing. They have made me feel cared for during these tremendously hard circumstances in my life. Any problems I had, were addressed quickly and professionally. To me, they are like family. I highly recommend if in need of a Hotel stay while in the area, to book a reservation here.

Nnyan777I'm writing this review not because I stayed in the hotel but because I've been trying to make a reservation for March 23-24 but when I'm about to enter my ID info and credit card, the dates keep changing to March 16, today's date. If I was not careful, I would have paid for today's date and would not be able to get a refund! This is absolutely crazy and a mistake that Marriot, should not be making. I called their reservations person, who did not seem to be interested and just stated it's a technical glitch. Also, in the greeting, it states that the price they have online and by person is the same. However, online it was showing $170 but the rep quoted me for $225. Marriot, please fix your website and your support team.

GGuest UserThe employee at the front desk smiled as we walked in. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was pancakes, omelettes, hash browns to name a few. All delicious! And it is only 2 miles from thunder valley. I highly recommend this hotel!

We came to Kings Beach with accommodations booked elsewhere, but got cancelled with only an hour before check-in. Thankfully I remembered considering the Stevenson's Holliday Inn since they were the only other pet friendly establishment I had found. Walked down the street and talked to the manager about availability, sure enough they had a room and were able to offer it to us. After an exhausting day due to the other place, we were very relieved to get into a room. Our daughter immediately was excited to jump into bed after camping for a couple nights.

The hotel however has become a little bit rundown/Dated, worn down decor inside the rooms and also the outside of the Hotel. I still like staying here because of the location, The friendly staff, the decent complementary breakfast and the price is usually reasonable. with some up-grades and some fixing up, this could be a pretty darn good Hotel... I still like it and would stay here again.. I prefer to say in the main building on the 2nd or 3 floor above the Lobby. * Tends to be much quieter than the other two separate buildings.

The hotel was amazing the front desk clerks Alyssa and Steven went above and beyond I was there from the beginning of July all the way through to almost the end of July I had the best experience there I was in the middle of a move very stressed out and everything I needed Alyssa and Steven were more than grateful to were more than more than helpful to extend what I needed
