Nice hotel located near or a few good restaurants. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms were also nice. The only issue that I had was that my refrigerator did not have a freezer. But all in all the hotels nice and I would recommend it if you were staying in the area

As a titanium elite member I have stayed at every type of Marriott property in the United States. This was my best experience of any of them. Thanks to the Marriott team of Randy, Tim, Ocher, Deseri, James, Darius, Ebony and several others that I have encountered. Even the GM took time to stop over and talk even though there were two weddings and another event in the hotel. Smiles Abound Here! This cohesive team's only wish is for you to enjoy your stay to the maximum. Thank you to all and I look forward to returning soon

Our family stayed at Residence Inn Pontiac for 13 days in May 2022 while our daughter was attending the Euro-Therapies clinic across the street. This was our fourth stay at the hotel and it was terrific. The staff is, without exception, extremely kind and helpful. The customer service is impeccable. Sondra was especially instrumental in making our stay so fantastic. The facilities are clean and the rooms are very comfortable. The kids had a fantastic time. I cannot thank the staff enough for how our family was treated. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

First night of a two night stay. I approached a member of the room service staff, only to be informed that cleaning would only occur upon instruction from the front desk. After relaying my request to the front desk, I received assurances that it would be taken care of. However, upon our return that night, our room remained untouched. Frustrated, I sought an explanation from the front desk, only to be directed to either inform the receptionist or the room supervisor if I want my room cleaned next time. Second night of two. While my son and I were engrossed in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, an unexpected power outage plunged us into darkness. Despite our hopes, the TV remained dormant until the following day, and to our discomfort, the heat failed to return as well. Seeking some form of compensation for the inconvenience, I inquired about a discount, only to be met with a dismissive response citing that the circumstances were not there fault. During check, I was once again reminded that the situation wasn't their responsibility. To compound matters, the culinary experience was further marred by undercooked eggs on both days of our stay. I took the time to complete their survey, hopeful that my concerns would finally reach corporate ears. Yet, once again, my pleas seemed to go unnoticed and unanswered.

This is my favorite hotel. I stay at Sonesta in every city I go. Always clean, always so comfortable. I would recommend it to everyone. For business, pleasure, or just to get away, Sonesta is the best choice for all of your travel needs

Came to town for training and was very pleased with my stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was clean and nice. I ate breakfast both days down stairs and the area was clean and tidy both days. Food was good and the coffee was hot. Will definitely stay here again

Water pressure good hot water..room ok after I lysoled and air freshner in room sprayed hall musty smell..no room service while there not even cllean towels had to ask. Sack breakfast not what was advertised take what you get a muffin,apple,granola bar and water. Very sad will not stay again!

I would recommend this location again and again! The hotel is quiet and the rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast tasted good, contained healthy choices, and a variety of selections. Now to the hospitality, our stay was due to bereavement, but I tell you this, Mr. K.D. ensured we had a smile every interaction! He provided top tier customer service - even as we checked in at 2am after a long day of travel! Thank you to the entire staff!

There were 3 police cars in front when we pulled up. The desk clerk could barely speak English. The carpet on the staircase was grossly dirty. One key wouldn’t work and we gave up after 2 trips to the front desk. The bathroom sink was cracked. The bathtub was so nasty that we showered at the relatives we were visiting. A tattered list of stations was the only “TV guide.” Internet was so slow I gave up using it after 6 “timed out” messages. Chipped up doors, dirty corners and along walls. Lamp shades broken, mismatched lightbulbs, fighting in parking lot... Most disgusting place we’ve stayed in the past decade!
