Excellent
RRomeroI got a room with the harbor view, it was so beautiful. I watched the sunset through my hotel window. And it’s a walking distance to the barbor and restaurants. Staff were hospitable and nice. The only thing is they don’t have free parking nor they cover the parking fees, unlike other hotels. This is first time experiencing having to pay for my own. I had to pay $24 for a day parking.
Stayed for three nights during a conference. The ”cozy” room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Everything worked, but it was quite small -- cozy for one person, but crowded for two. It . Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant fare was ok but not memorable; the menu is limited, and it's the same for lunch and dinner. The most memorable thing about the hotel is the artwork in the hallways and galleries on the conference side. They were not just the same-old-same-old pieces ordered by the dozen by a corporate office, but rather one-of-kind, curated works from the U. Maryland holdings. It's worth taking some time to wander and view everything from 500+ year old Chinese scrolls to 1950's photography from the American South. It would be nice if, like a museum, the hotel had a guide to the art collection.
GGetaway21799108119Totally nonresponsive to our booking needs. We clearly communicated our needs for a handicap room as well as a double room to accommodate 3 family members. Nothing was as ordered when we arrived an hour past check in time. The handicap room had a tub when we requested a walk in shower. There was absolutely no storage in the room or bathroom. There was no safe in the room. We were told that this was how all handicap rooms were. There was no soap in the room. It took two requests from housekeeping to get soap and the head of housekeeping totally contradicted the front desk and said she would get us a room to meet our needs. At 10:30 pm we had to repack all our luggage and move to another room. This room did have a walk-in shower, a small free standing set of drawers in the bathroom, no other storage and a safe that was unreachable and literally on top of what is euphemistically called a closet. All this for only $250 a night, 3 rooms for 3 nights. Not an insignificant amount of money. The only accommodation we received after asking was a free buffet breakfast which was comparable to a Holiday Inn Express, adequate but certainly not lavish. Also because one person made the reservation they would not award loyalty points to anyone else even though we all paid for our own rooms. It shouldn’t be that complicated to change this request.
KKen BlumThe room was nice, and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The facilities were good, including the Mexican restaurant on-site, which had excellent food.
GGuest UserBed Bug Bites all over my arm and neck! I’ve stayed here many times over the years and always liked this place. It is in a great location for my job and the staff has always been great. But last week I stayed there 2 nights and woke up with bed bug bites. If you’ve had this problem before, you understand. First there’s a little itchy red spot. As the day goes on you feel more itchy spots. At the end of the day you remove your shirt and OMG! Look - this happens. My third time over the last 20 years. I know the hotel doesn’t want to have bed bugs. But when it happens the hotel should be concerned, and act quickly. Not the case here. I had to call several times over several days and no one ever called me back. So I feel it is my moral obligation to let you know.
MMakoto ItoThe front desk was very kind and very talkative, and the room was very clean and the equipment was very good. Breakfast is full, coffee juice is also available all day, and the living feeling is very good.
The only thing to note is that you need a deposit of $100 per day for check-in and a credit card is supported, but you can discuss with the front desk not to cross all at once.
EEmily CNice hotel, good service, helpful front desk. Breakfast was good, lots of different options each day. Fine location off of highway. Matches the pictures, good price, great for going in and out. Feels safe tucked back behind the road, lots of parking.
Semre was of great help, she made sure I was accommodating with the same room I’ve been in, she checked me in asap, the breakfast here in the am are amazing, I will recommend a stay to anyone, the facility is clean and comforting, they make you feel wanted
At first I was hesitant about staying here cuz of the negative reviews but it was actually pretty decent. Great location from the greenbelt ***** mall stores that me and my SO walked a couple times. We stayed on the main floor we did have someone stay above us that we herd them walking but it wasn’t to crazy and it was quiet at night. The bed was good to sleep in not the normal fluffy comfiness but it was still good enough to sleep and not wake up with any back pain. I did request additional pillows which wasn’t an issue for the front desk. They did have cookware to cook with that was convenient did have to purchase separately but again wasn’t to bad of a price and you get to keep it after your stay. I would stay here again and they were very accommodating to any request that I had. Great experience
GGuest UserDirty rooms, Nerve wracking automatic bathroom fan, no security, criminal activity, I was charged twice fraudulently for requesting a clean room, antiquated door locks and appliances that rumble to loud for you to sleep. Leaking faucets, Bettles in room, uncomfortable old beds, screeching shower faucet when hot water runs, dangerous staircase, disgusting shared office microwave, damaged furniture, paint peeling and rust on fixtures, unsafe electrical outlets. Should be shut down!!! Never Again!!!
