The upstairs level has a master bedroom overlooking the main floor, a full bath, laundry, walk-in closet and office with exercise equipment.The main level features vaulted ceilings with a central, 2-sided fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, dining room, great room, a massive covered deck, a bedroom and bathroom.The lower level is a walk-out with 2 bedrooms, a game room, laundry and bathroom.The back yard gently slopes to the lake where a private fire pit, small stone beach and boat dock await. Take the kayaks out for a morning paddle and enjoy the best of Maine.The property has 2 kayaks for your use between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Always wear life jackets when using. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Host is not liable for any incident regarding kayak or dock.We also have darts, ping pong table, board games, books, fishing rods, tennis rackets and a set of golf clubs for you to use.If you want to rent a power boat, stand up paddleboards, canoes or additional kayaks, Downeast Boat rentals 207-460-6898 can deliver these to the property for your use. They are in very high demand. If you plan to rent we suggest making your reservations ASAP.Please do not launch power boats from the back yard. There is a public launch area at the southern end of the lake.Please keep all children under close eye when around the water.Internet is via high speed Starlink satellite internet. This is close to broadband quality and allows for video streaming, VOIP phone calls, etc.We have a property manager that lives next door. Welcome to our family camp where the sun sets over Flanders Pond and eventually disappears behind Shoodic Mountain. Our pond has a sandy bottom pond, it spans over 550 acres so we like to call it a lake! This house features its own private beachfront with two kayaks included! Swim the crystal clear waters! We are about 45 mins to Bar Harbor and Acadia State Park. Winter Harbor/Shoodic Pennisula is about 15 mins away. Down East Sunrise Trail is right across the pond for hiking and snowmobiling.The layout is as follows, bottom floor has a one car garage which leads into a partially finished game room. There is a pull out couch in there that can serve as an extra bed if necessary. The laundry is down there as well. Second floor has the full bathroom, kitchen and living room as well as a walkout balcony. The top floor has the primary bedroom with balcony and the other bedroom has two adult size bunk beds as well as a twin. There is also a half bathroom in between both of the bedrooms.The house is fully equipped with baseboard heating for the winter months, running water from a deep well, and fully functional cesspool. The pond does freeze over during the winter. People ice fish the pond during the icey months. In the summer, you can catch brown trout, smallmouth bass, white perch and pickerel. Down East sunrise trail is right around the corner. There's a bunch of trails you can visit nearby as well. 10 mins away you can go to the shoodic beach and climb the shoodic mountain. In the summer you can take a boat ride to bar harbor from winter harbor and just avoid all the traffic getting out there. Winter harbor is like 15 mins away and is a part of Acadia national park. You can rent a bike there and cruise around the scenic roads.There's two kayaks and life vests for guests to use.
