Overall it's good. Partial sea view room is quiet at night. You can see the sea from the small window. It's right by the sea. The location is good. The service is friendly. The room is as described and meets expectations. It's clean. The towels are especially clean and white. There are restaurants and bars nearby
The room was very clean and it was much larger room then I envisioned. It had a big kitchen area and bathroom. We also loved the rooftop lounge!! The location can’t be beat! I would definitely stay there again.
My wife and I stayed at the V twice 2022, and returned this year (2024) with our 3 children. We absolutely love this hotel, and love Venice beach. We had a large double queen room and the hotel has roll away beds for extra guests. This came in handy since we are a family of 5. The rooms all have their unique look and are very neat, and have a sorta cool Venice beach vibe to them. The hotel is very clean and has the most wonderful staff. The location is amazing, in the heart of Venice beach close to great restaurants, and there is a very nice coffeeshop underneath the hotel. There is a small roof top patio with the beast sunset view, that was always empty when we went up there. They have bikes and skate boards with helmets free for guests, beach towels and chairs. This is the best hotel on the *****, and I can't say enough great things. We are planning on staying again on our next trip down from Canada.

We stayed at Venice On The Beach Hotel on the last night of a Disney/Universal-packed vacation week. I was looking for a low-key spot on the beach within 20 minutes of LAX where we could wind down and this place did not disappoint. The room was clean, had cable TV and a safe wide enough for laptops, and offered plenty of towels for bath/beach. All three desk staff we met were super nice and professional. Ahead of time, I requested one of the hotel parking spots for our rental car, which worked out well because Venice is close quarters, and as a non-local without a guaranteed spot, I wouldn't have known where to park. Besides being right on the beach, the hotel is maybe a hundred yards from good restaurants (we loved Sushi Enya for dinner and Cow's End for breakfast), shops, and the scene on W. Washington Boulevard, but it was quiet through the night—surprisingly as it was a Friday/Saturday. Many thanks!
Perfect location, right in the heart of the hustle and bustle on Venice Beach, so great for walking to Santa Monica or Marina Del Rey. Accommodation (2 bed cottage) - Nice enough. Though the hotel is opposite Phoenix House. This is a rehab centre for alcohol and drug abuse. I get it - everyone needs help! However, the upper floors can look directly in the cottage’s courtyard. And as soon as you walked out the gate, the entrance was opposite. As we were two guys, it wasn’t really a problem but probably not the nicest place to stay with your wife or family. Parking - No parking as advertised. The nearest parking was Venice Beach Parking. Couldn’t make out their pricing structure as it changed daily and was super expensive. However, we had a car, so had no choice but to pay.
Nice hotel, delicious vegetarian breakfast, you can take it with you. Parking at the hotel is paid, we parked on the next street. No pool, but you can see the ocean from the window. Some rooms overlook garbage containers, but they have the best view of the ocean)))

We were really impressed by Samesun Hostel in Venice. The staff was super friendly, breakfast was very nice. We appreciated free beach and shower towels and availability of room cleaning daily was also very nice. Location was also extremely nice. Prior to arriving, one of the staff members (Blue) was very kind and helped to accommodate all 4 of us in same room. I would definitely stay at this hostel when I come back to LA! Thank you!
The hotel is very close to Venice beach, about a five-minute walk. We were given a south-facing room with a balcony and a view of the sea. Venice beach is very lively. There are 5 stores within 100 meters of the shops. It is still a bit scary to go shopping at night.
Smack by the beach with gorgeous views. Room was cosy and spacious, love the bed, with fully equipped kitchen!

GGuest UserIf you need an affordable motel room within $12 Uber of Venice Beach this is for you. It suited me perfectly for the weekend and here are my thoughts now I’m back in Australia: PROS: Price is good Close to beach Super clean and comfy Maccas right next door and Thai across road Deli and bottle shop around corner Free car parking Friendly staff Double glazed windows stop traffic noise Microwave CONS: Doors are not solid and traffic noise is bad (a shame as the windows are great!) No kettle or coffee machine in room Random people sheltering in stairwell Being cheap you get all sorts of people night and day. Would I bring my family here? Probably not. But for a party night nearby or a bed close to the airport you can’t go wrong. I actually really like the place and would go back any time. Yes an apartment on the beach would be better but they’re 5 times the price and that’s not for me so this place is perfect. I usually take photos but TBH nothing stood out so I didn’t, but it was perfectly fine 👍
