"Celebrated my mom’s birthday.
We enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and our room was spacious and clean.
The buffet breakfast is great, wish it had pancakes or waffles for vegetarians. The hotel is located at the heart of Knysna- short stroll to the waterfront, plenty of restaurants& activities. Parking is available on site for ZAR30 p/ night and tourism levy is ZAR30 p/ night.
Our check in was 30 minutes late, (14:30) bit disappointed, but we understand it was peak period.
Otherwise highly recommend and will definitely return!"

"We had a very friendly welcome from our hostess with welcome drinks, a small snack and a scented damp refresher towel. The grounds are beautiful - lush, green and well kept. We were bumped up to a lovely room with a big balcony and view over the pool area and river. The room was very clean and neat. breakfast at the on-site restaurant was delicious and staff were friendly. (the only minus... the coffee was not hot).
Another great thing is that all the activities (canoeing on the river, hiking, mashie golf, etc are included in your room fee!
We would definitely visit again!!"

"Although we changed three room types within 24 hours, in the end, the hotel manager promised to give us a room type that we would definitely be satisfied with. So, we stayed in a single-family vacation room. It has a kitchen, living room and dining room on the first floor, and a kitchen on the second floor. There are two suites. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room open onto the green turf. It is very pleasant to take a walk outdoors at sunset. In the evening, I fried steak and paired it with red wine and turned on the TV to watch the Olympics. It was a perfect day."

GGuest UserAccomodation is located on a separate island, which is a gem itself - stunning shoreline, lovely park for walks, a very peaceful place which is also very safe. Great location - road connecting it to the mainland, and just 10 minutes drive from Knysna harbour with all the best eat out places around. We've been treated by Pierre, who is the most friendly and welcoming host. He has designed the place with his love for sailing and the sea in general - everything is very stylish, clean and bright. He is also originally from Belgium, which means you'll also benefit from delicious Belgium waffles as a nice desert treat for your breakfast. You can also ask him about best places to visit, not just around Knysna but all across the West Cape. And there will also be a special something for dog lovers, as there are 2 absolutely adorable labradoodles hanging around when allowed by guests, and they really love to cuddle 🤗 Wish we could stay for more, but will definitely come back next time I'll be around.

GGuest Userthe location is great! very close to viewpoints, restaurants and overall very safe. the chalet itself is clean, fully equipped with everything you need, with a great beach where you can always take a SUP or canoe. there are a couple of things that need to be mentioned - the smell of damp wood and the slope of the floor in the bedroom - but personally this did not spoil the impression for us, although for someone it may be important. thanks for the hospitality)

Staff are all friendly and helpful I strongly recommend staying here.
