Hot spring Hotels in Cixi

Pros: - Location - View from the window - Excellent food - General level of interiors - The fullness of the room (robes, slippers, thermal pot, tea accessories, etc.) - Price Minuses: - Noisy water drain in the bathroom. Taking a shower is accompanied by a rather loud sound of water leaving. - You can hear the slamming of the doors of neighboring rooms from the corridor. - Very few reception staff speak English.

Rooms were hot, hot HOT!! I wish they’d put a window in or something to stop us from propping the corridor door open at night. We paid for the room which gives access to the lounge. Lounge had great food and drinks of the first night - I wa impressed. They then closed the lounge on our second night and opted to give us a takeaway box which was no where near the value of paying for the executive room. Luckily, the hotel agreed to give us a refund for our remaining nights and we went to a different hotel. I think in Normal times - when covid is well and truly finished - this hotel would get a revisit. Staff were friendly and like I said, lounge served some good food.

When I caught a cold and it was too cold to live at home, I came to stay at the platinum hotel in front of my house. As expected of a constant-temperature hotel, I was sweating profusely while sleeping, and it felt just right to turn off the air conditioner. Generally speaking, the sanitary facilities are quite good, and the price is very affordable, which is suitable for cats in winter ~ I will come back next time.

This hotel was situated in CiXi technology zone many kilometres from Ningbo. We were advised when we got there that it was not an ideal couples hotel as they cater mainly for travel groups. We stayed one night then booked another hotel within the downtown of Ningbo. This hotel was very nice and if it was more conveniently located would be a popular destination.
