Location was great for all amenities

Rooms are so stuffy it was hot and unpleasant to sleep windows only open 2 inches and the fans did very little to cool the room! Probably won’t use travelodhe again because it was so uncomfortable in the heat

Stayed last night . Check in was very good polite and friendly. The room was really clean and tidy . A good touch was leaving the window open. It felt so fresh . Thank you to the staff on duty . The house keeper Terri went above and beyond help us settle in .

The bedroom was spotlessly clean, lovely soft pillows and I had a great nights sleep. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location was perfect as everything is with a 5 minute walking distance. The nearest carpark is literally opposite with24hr parking at £9.80. Perfect. I will defo stay again

Stayed one night with my partner and we were quite surprised with the quality of service and the room was very decent, clean and comfortable. Good location for people wanting to visit and stay over in Clacton-on-Sea, their prices are fairly reasonable also so you can't complain all round. Local shops, bars, restaurants within less than 2 walking minutes. The receptionist was so lovely I forgot her name but she reminded me of my Mother, super sweet and helpful.

Excellent night, Staff are so friendly, kind and helpful, especially Dani and Donna who cheered us up with their lovely mannerisms, the room was cosy and warm, shower was lovely and hot great water flow, I was do comfortable I didn't want to leave.........I Highly recommend this hotel, I will definitely be back

A lovely night, clean fresh with enough facilities to make it comfortable, the shower was nice and hot with a decent flow, everything was easy no one hassled me, it was quite, I had a lovely night I highly recommend and will definitely be staying there again........

Kind and helpful staff. Unfortunately they were unable to do an early check in for us but offered to look after our luggage until we could (we took them up on this offer!). When we returned they had not only checked us in but they had put the luggage in one of our rooms for us too. They also allowed us to leave the items with them the next day while we went out for brunch before heading back to Devon. Our room was clean and comfortable. Basic but exactly all that we needed just for an overnight stay. We did make use of the tea making facilities :-) Congrats to the housekeeping staff who were short staffed on the Saturday when we arrived, you'd done a great job.

Cheap, clean, comfortable, convenient, that's why we use Travelodge if we're staying over somewhere and we don't want a expensive trip. Was well located after a family wedding. Happy with the choice. Thanks

If you want a quality stay somewhere, this isn’t the place for you. It wasn’t very clean, there is cheaper parking attached to other accommodation, and passing through groups of residents, smoking cigarettes and solids outside, is a bit daunting.
