We had to request a room change due to the critical state of the bathroom (terrible cleanliness) in the room we were in. The attendant was very attentive, offered us another room, but in that other room, however much better the cleanliness and the state of the room was, we still had problems with the shower, which barely had any water coming out, and at night the water barely heated up and there was no way to control it (between hot and cold) because the cold tap wasn't working.
Very well located, close to Clacton Pier, but we had a not very good experience.

This is a budget hotel for sure! The good points first: 1) staff are so friendly and accommodating 2) great location for everything 3) nice bar/restaurant situated within the hotel (11am until 11pm) 4) security cameras throughout for safety 5) free parking Now the bad .... 1) The locks on all the doors are shocking 2) the windows don't close! 3) very dated 4) seemed a bit of the downs and outs were staying there! 5) no 24hr security/reception Not as bad as other reviews have mentioned but not sure i would return either!

Easy access and close to all amenities. Room was spacious. Lounge area was nice and welcoming! Was disappointed that we were told breakfast would be open from 9am to come down and it was closed and locked up.

Centralky located, close to beach shops, bars, restaurant etc. Limited free parking on forecourt. Clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Many thanks, will be back again soon.

Staff were helpful bed was comfortable had a nice stay but no shower curtain .the lift was out of order and had a electric heater because the central heating wasnt working

Good parking otherwise a downtrodden and noisey hotel . Every single floorboard creaks loudly .
2 doors down is a hostel where most residents stand outside all day smoking dope .
