The room is very big and the bed is comfortable. However, the room seem very old. The bathroom does not work well. The room does not have hair dryer

My room was not cleaned during my 3 night stay. When I checked in I asked about the tennis courts and the receptionist just shrugged and said they were not in use. I ordered soup at the bar but was told I'd have to go downstairs to drink it. When I checked out, there was nobody at the reception desk. I waited 10 minutes and then just left the key on the desk. This hotel could do with some proper management as it is falling apart and the staff are badly trained.

We stayed at Castle Oaks for a family wedding. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel has old world charm with beautiful grounds bordering the river Shannon. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave suggestions on the area. Highly recommend !

Nobody on front desk to take my key or ask if stay was ok. I went back again as hotel very near my work and room wasn't cleaned.
Still the location is great for me so I regularly book in.
I forgot that I booked on one occasion and the hotel still charged me the full whack. Would not even refund me a euro even though I'm a regular customer and they didn't have to clean the room or make the beds. So I'll never book in again. A shame as it's a nice hotel.

Our daughter got married and the people, the facility snd the beauty of the gardens meant that the two days were better than anything she could have ever dreamt The food was excellent, and a special mention to Josephine and Aaron in the bar who not only served many pints of super Guinness but who made us feel so special It is a wonderful hotel and the staff are super

I had a really nice stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Beautiful grounds next the river with lots of bird song. An easy drive from Dublin on the motorway.

Best pint of Guinness in limerick, credit to Josephine for all her hard work looking after the bar and restaurant. Nothing is ever an issue and she cannot do enough to help.

There were a lot of us finished paint works esp on the coridor & no mention of it from staff.i looked very dirty looking due to this High dusting needs attention in room 109 a lot of dust in wardrobe Food very basic Hotel looks abit run down and in need of a good refurbish Bed was comfortable

Lovely hotel to stay in we were allocated a suite which was huge with an ensuite could do with a little shelf in the shower unit to hold the toiletories instead of them on the floor of the shower the only downside we had was that there was no Electric Car Chargers on site the staff in the bar were excellent and very pleasant Keep Up The Good Work
