Without doubt, one of the poorest-equipped hovels we've ever stayed at. The majority of hotels in the vicinity seemed a little pricey, unlike this one, so we thought wed give it a try. 1) The rooms are tiny. 2) The floor is uneven and severely slopes towards the bathroom. 3) The bed is higher at the foot than the head by 8 inches! 4) The walls are painted dark blue, absorbing all light and giving the feel of a jail cell. 5) There is a complete lack of lighting except for the miserable dirty shade lights alongside the bed. What a total disgrace. The owners/management should be ashamed to invite guests to stay in this rathole.

Before you read this there have been multiple complaints about this business for the same reason. We were about to check in and was told there was going to be an additional $100 charge for 2 additional people (2 infants waiting in the car) to stay in room. Booked a 2 bed room for 4 people. The policy is not clear at all on Orbitz and says may VARY what does this mean?? Told the employee that was a rip off and they declined to take my payment and said I would not have any charge to my card. Looking forward to seeing my bank statement and don’t waste your time with this hotel it’s a joke !

The property has a policy of no check-in’s after 10:30PM and no refunds. And they don’t make exceptions. I can’t help but wonder if they aren’t trying to deliberately take money from desperate travelers who fail to read the fine print on their policies. I make my booking (only place in Claremont that had a room available and they only had one) while I was about 2.5 hours away. ETA was anticipated to be about 9:45-10:00PM. But then I ran into a 45 minute delay…
In speaking with the person on the phone, they were not sympathetic or understanding in any way. They just kept saying that they close at 10:30PM and that their policy was posted on the web site. So they got my $120 and I got nothing.
Just as a side note, I have been traveling for work since 1990 and spend between 100-250 nights a year at hotels. This is my second review in all that time.

The manager was very polite and efficient. The beds were probably the most comfortable ones I have ever had at a motel. The water pressure was excellent. Colourful bedding and curtains, made me smile to see them. Room was very clean. Cleaner scent in room was very strong. Bathroom door didn't close all the way. Could see where repairs had been done, but was in good shape otherwise. Had to remember to set e-brake in car because the motel is on a hill.
