Excellent all round, big rooms, super comfy bed with crisp linen, delicious healthy breakfast in beautiful quiet location, but still close enough to walk to restaurant/pubs. Check in and welcome very friendly.

After 13 years we stayed again at Riverwalk - it was as comfortable as before. Hannnetje is a welcoming host and Jermaine looked after us mindful. His hot breakfast, especially the Peri-peri Chicken Livers, make a great start for the day. We booked the Loft Room no7, which is big, bright and welcoming, with a huge bathroom. A separate lounge and stoep to share with another room are a gerat bonus. You just need to be able to climb several steps, the last ones to the loft rooms are narrow and steep. The house is spotless clean, in a quiet cul de sac.

Personally contacted us day before to confirm arrival time, we were warmly welcomed and room was ready. Very clean, spacious and comfy.Close enough to walk to Clarens Town square and a nature walk along the river on its doorstep.

Great location, breakfast and views. Easy access and short walk down to the river. Accommodating and helpful staff. The only issue was that the internet would come and go. Apart from that, we had a pleasant, cozy and relaxing stay

The staff were very friendly and the rooms are so well kept. Home away from home. Jessica was so helpful, she really made our stay comfortable. We arrived late and she made sure that lights and heater are switched on in our room before we arrive.

A beautiful setting for a retreat, spacious room with quality bedding and a fantastic breakfast. Walking distance from the centre of town but still secluded enough to have a quiet rest. Great value for money.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights in June 2022 Beds were uncomfortable and noisy - creaked every time you moved Hair dryer has round 2 point plug - neither of our rooms had an adaptor to accomodate the plug. Electric blanket only worked on 1 side of the bed. Rebecca was sweet, and the breakfast was good.

The place is absolutely spectacular and the host was hospitable and helpful- probably the the best place in Clarens just from looking around. It is professional and worth the buck. You feel you are at a breakaway with stunning scenery and with a pair of sneakers its a lovely short walk from the B&B to the Clarens square and all amenities. No other place to stay for me when going to the lovely quaint Clarens.
