Knock Out View Clarens

Clarens free state is absolutely magnificent. The views that surround the area are second to none. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The town has everything you need and you are less than 20 minutes away from golden gate highlands national park which is stunning to view and sunrise. The price of our (my partner and I) stay was perfect for a 9 day visit. The rooms are serviced everyday and kept clean. As the rooms are close by and is considered a students town, you can hear ither occupants but only when they are outside and the occasional hadeda at about 4am but as for noise pollution there is none. The kitchen has all the essentials. One thing that I would point out is that some of the knives are extremely dull and blunt but bar that you have all the basics to cook (as it is self catering) but there are plenty of restaurants around to fill up with fantastic food

On themorning on arrival we received a location. On arrival we were told that they have upgraded us to a 4 sleeper, what a spoil!!! The most beautiful mountain view awaited us, a forever picture in my memory!! The stainglass features give a special feeling. Warm blankets, loved the dinosaur detail. The warmer in the bathroom add to the luxury!! Safe parking behind locked gates. An amazing Julia on the premises ready to assist where ever she can. A breakfast voucher to a local eatery - wow. The autumn trees, the creative buzz and the slow life we all crave made this visit a refilling/refueling experience. Thank you and see you again soon!

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the accommodation. Everything was comfortable, welcoming, and well managed. We have already recommended the place to friends and colleagues and would gladly return when visiting Clarens again.

Great stay – definitely worth it! This place is perfectly located on the main street, just a short walk (about two blocks) from the town square. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, which really made us feel at home. The unit had everything we needed – heaters, warm blankets, a nice hot shower, and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee and even fresh milk in the fridge (such a nice touch!). There was also DStv and free WiFi, which was great. They do have a braai area, but we ended up going out for dinner instead. Honestly, it was totally worth the money and more. Would definitely stay here again!

The place is perfectly situated, being walking distance from the town hub. We noticed regular police patrols and felt safe. The one bedroom unit was clean and neat. All the necessary amenities were provided. The bathroom was well equipped and the water supply had adequate pressure, with enough hot water. The kitchenette also had everything we needed and expected. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home.

Lovely little cabin, excellent location with a short walking distance to town.
