Busby Hotel

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Busby Hotel on 20/04/24 and cannot recommend the place enough! Myself and my partner, along with some other family members stayed at the hotel the night prior as well and from the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The wedding itself ran so smoothly and Rebecca kept us right throughout the day, the food was great and Jamie the DJ was brilliant! All of our guests keep telling us how much they enjoyed the day too and how nice the hotel, the staff and the food was. Special mention to Megan who is absolutely fantastic at what she does!! So lovely and so helpful from our first meeting all the way through. The bridal suite - WOW!! What an experience, it is stunning! We will definitely be back visiting soon.

Everything ran to perfection, the staff kept us right throughout the day and the hotel and surroundings are absolutely beautiful and pristine! Highly recommended and will return. My only issue is the size of the room, very small, but was okay for me for one night.

Well what can we say ..... We had our wedding on Friday 29th march 2024!!! , and cannot fault anything at all about our experience with the Busby hotel and the amazing team throughout !! Special shout-out has to go to Megan, you really are amazing at your job, from our first meeting with you to the day after the wedding you helped us every step of the way and we both thank you from the bottom of our hearts !! The way the day ran so smoothly, you and your team know exactly what your all doing and were outstanding and professional throughout,so friendly and patient , we had the best day of our lives and felt like part of the Busby family, I didn't want to leave !!! ,anyone considering having their wedding here !! Do it , you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to returning soon for a wee dinner or overnight stay X thank you to all the Busby team for making our weekend one we will never forget lots of love from the new Mr and Mrs McPhee xxx

As a family we have booked the restaurant at the Busby Hotel on a number of occasions. We had booked a number of weeks ago for Easter Sunday at 4pm for a group of 14 for a special birthday. We arrived at 4pm and our table wasn't ready. We were seated approx 4.10pm . The normal restaurant menus were handed out to every one. We enquired about the Sunday roast - Easter specials on offer (one of the reasons we booked in the first place) only to be told - we have run out of that menu !. We then waited over one hour for our main course (no starters were ordered). Two of the guests had ordered skinny fries as a side dish - only to be told after the main course arrived that 'we have run out of skinny fries but can offer you hand cut chips!! The bill arrived - which was over £300 and it was only when I made a complaint that the offer of £25 was deducted from the bill for our inconvenience. Needless to say - we wont be back !!

Visited for a friends wedding and the hotel was absolutely lovely. It was gorgeously decorated for christmas. The staff couldnt have been more helpful. We had a very comfortable room and breakfast in the morning was the perfect cure for a hangover

We had our wedding at The Busby Hotel in December 2023 and it was everything we could of dreamed of! Megan & the team were absolutely amazing from start to finish, we couldnt fault them. The honeymoon suite was the perfect room to relax after our big day, we wished we could have stayed longer!! We will 100% be back to the hotel for another overnight stay & to the restaurant. Overall The Busby is the perfect venue for any future brides & grooms ❤️🥰

My husband and I got married here on 09.03.2024 and it was amazing. So we'll organised, nothing was too much bother, the food was fantastic (so many of our guests commented on it), the rooms were a great size and the honeymoon suite is INCREDIBLE. The DJ was also amazing and our dance floor was full the entire night. We've been delighted with our experience. My only tip for couples getting married here would be to plan in advance where you want any big family photos taken in the event its raining cause we hadn't planned this out! Overall a totally amazing day and we're MARRIED!

I don’t have a single negative thing to say, everything was perfect! 🤩 if you are thinking of the Busby but unsure, book and an appointment with Megan, she will show you around and explain everything to you. We went for our appointment and loved it so much we booked it there and then! All our guests have said it was the best wedding they have been to and loved every minute!!
