Had a very good time it’s a clean hotel

Had a great stay. Cute area with lots to walk to.

Great location, only reason for the 3 star rating is because the doors on the balcony don’t secure all the way and right across the road is a night club and you can hear everything all night long. If you staying pay for a beach view and stay away from the bay view

We had a great time and would definitely come back. The beach is gorgeous. Food was good. Service was spotty but staff generally very friendly. It is indeed an older hotel and shows it, but the renovations are nice albeit cosmetic. As diamond members, not much value but in the plus column, we arrived very early and our room was ready within a hour, we were upgraded, and we received a late checkout though not late enough. The $35 resort fee is a joke and doesn’t really cover much ESPECIALLY since you have to pay for beach chairs, umbrellas and cabanas - and they are not cheap! If you’re going to charge $100 per day then you shouldn’t be charging a resort fee. And if you’re a diamond member, you should get a discount. Minor quibbles though annoying. For us, it’s all about the beach and this beach is stunning. Water was warm and calm, and we thoroughly enjoyed.

We stayed at this hotel for Mother's Day weekend the fact that is says resort and based on the online pictures I had high expectations. The hotel was just ok in my opinion... the rooms needs some TLC our AC vent was covered in dust and right next to the headboard of the bed. Balcony had alot of bird poop on it like it hadn't not been cleaned in awhile. The thing that was most annoying for us is the beach chairs at the hotel were not included..... I assumed a resort right on the beach would have there own chairs for guests but you had to rent them if you wanted them. They were $27 each! We did rent chairs bc we didn't want to sit in the sand but even the rented chairs had to be where the staff placed them in the back row behind alot cabanas, that was not convenient for us as we have kids that wanted to be near the water. Also you aren't allowed outside beverages. We stayed at the pool most of the day which was fine but $20 something dollars for chips and guac seemed excessive for us when you weren't allowed to bring in any outside food or drinks. No self park options so we were forced to do valet at $29 a night. On the positive side I had a massage at the spa which was nice, we also had drinks in the lobby bar that had a nice view of the gulf. If I were to stay in Clearwater again I would chose a different hotel.

This property has one of the best locations on the beach and is ‘on’ the beach but is showing its age. They’ve tried to renovate here and there but it doesn’t seem to be working. We have stayed here (two rooms) over the past 5-6 years. This last visit has got us looking elsewhere for next year. Here are some of the issues: -NEGATIVE: pulled in to check in and no valet or bellmwn was outside. After 10 minutes we walked in to find them all hanging out at the bell desk chatting with each other. Really? -POSITIVE: we were able to check in a bit early, both rooms. -NEGATIVE: we are Hilton Honors members and were not acknowledged at check-in and the front desk staff seemed very ‘new’. -NEGATIVE: asked if there were any upgrades available and they didn’t even acknowledge my ask. -NEGATIVE: credit card system was down so we had to MANUALLY fill out a form with our personal identifiable information along with our credit card number. Not cool. Very uneasy knowing this information is floating around this very unprofessional desk. -NEGATIVE: Next morning found out hot water didn’t work. Called the desk and was told the engineer doesn’t come in until 7 or 7:30 AM. And that was it until I started pressing. The solution for now was to let us shower in another room, but not switch rooms. The room was a higher room type so we could only shower there. WHAT?!? we declined due to time and the odd solution and they said engineering would look into and fix. -NEGATIVE: after breakfast stopped at the room, no hot water still. No App message from the front desk to stopped to ask. They had no idea of the issue and had to get Supervisor- he chimed in and said he was looking into now. I asked if it was just our room or more wide spread. No direct answer. The supervisor then asked how long we ran the water to determine no hot water. WHAT?!? Long enough to take a COLD SHOWER. -NEGATIVE; no communication from front desk as of 2PM. Texted on the app and NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Had to stop down and they finally offer Les a room change, but was a lower rate room. We said no and finally had another same room type but had to wait another hour. I could go on this place is not up to Hilton standards. The service is pretty bad.

We’ve stayed just us and with our kids. Great hotel for either. Highly recommed.

Customer service is beyond outstanding!! Delilah at the front desk is my favorite!!! Rooms are clean and spacious. They have EVERYTHING you need including Starbucks. Live music, tiki bar, 2 pools and a pool bar. Human size games to play and the spa was phenomenal!
