The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

Excellent location. Pool area was nice. Rooms and decor a little tired, but appreciated the fridge and coffee maker.

We stayed at the Beachview Inn and, honestly, apart from the great location, the stay was disappointing. The hotel feels a bit old and not very well maintained. The room we chose was comfortable, which was the main positive aspect. Breakfast was terrible—it was basically just snacks and a few items you could grab from the fridge, nothing resembling a proper breakfast. For the price you pay, the only real justification is being close to the beach. If location is the most important factor for you, this place might work. Otherwise, it falls short compared to what you would expect for the rate

Older facility. Floor not clean. Very noisy, thin walls. Small TV in main area.

The location of the hotel is the best. But out side buildings look very old and not safe. Inside the room are okay. The breakfast is just frozen pancakes, cereal, milk, yogurt etc. but no meat at all.

1 star hotel with 5+ star view and location. Bring your own hair conditioner, there is very simple one 2 in one.

I had a very horrible and disappointing experience at Beachview Inn in Clearwater. The hotel is extremely old, dirty, and poorly maintained. The furniture and rooms are very outdated, and the bathroom did not even have proper AC ventilation. There were bugs flying around the room, on the bed, and throughout the entire room, which made the stay very uncomfortable and unsanitary. On top of that, the customer service was horrible. The staff were rude, unhappy, and very unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. The worst part was after checkout, when the hotel charged me $170 because someone supposedly complained about a dog barking. I have a service animal that stayed with me at all times. The hotel never contacted me, never showed me proof, and never gave me the opportunity to address the complaint before charging my card. I believe it is unfair and unacceptable to charge guests without evidence or communication. It also felt discriminatory Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would NOT recommend staying here.

The location of this hotel is perfect, however it is an old hotel that needs updating and cleaning. Our sliding glass door to balcony did not fit properly and had a gap on the stationary side. Although room looked clean, when I checked under the beds there were empty juice bottles from previous guests, I did bring it to the attention of the front desk but they were still there after maid service. Outdoor areas and elevator need cleaning.

So keep in mind my hubby and I are in hospitality business...Hotel sector. We booked our stay on the premise that this was a THREE star hotel. Based on stars given by website/review pages. We booked 10am in morning arriving after 4pm same day. Keep in mind check in at 4pm. So we do the 2 hour drive. Arrive at hotel to be greeted by (all i can describe as) a 12 year old hormonal girl with the attitude of an XLBully who is snarling her braces on a mouthful.of ball.barings/marbles). We arrived at 3.45pm to be told room.not ready. Fine with that. We go for food and return at just prior to 5pm. Wow...the XL.bully now snarling actual rocks. Horrible. Greet her with a smile and tell.her we are awaiting a room. Again name given id presented. Keep in mind not just us waiting families and a long queue forming. After another 20 minutes reception empties out. Rooms given out. I asked if any update on room to be told "if you want we will refund you and you can go elsewhere That was not my question. So 30 40 minutes later summoned to desk. Slams paperwork down I sign and I keep smiling as I know how hard front of desk can be. Get the room. Its spotless. No problems dated but so clean. TV not working. Next morning a lovely woman on reception says she will.have it sorted. Ok took 30 hours to sort. But the fact the 2nd receptionist was so nice and pleasant we just accepted it was what it was. Then made.mistake of the xlbully.being on reception when asked about tv again. She certainly did not attend Swiss finishing school. Next morning saw lovely lady with bright yellow hair..so lovely. Within hour all.sorted wrong remote in room. So my advice to BV in is employ staff who have a mental age of over 21 or over 40 who are not generation x y or z. Who realise that without likes of us walking through the door..they would be jobless. The hotel for us was ideally situated. OK.older.but spotlessly clean and beds and bedding clean. Just grab your younger employees and either send them on training courses or teach them manners. Not just our observation BTW. Ideally located etc. But please realise that employing kids is letting your brand down. Please do not respond with thank you for your review. Actually look at and digest what I have taken time to post. Your hotel is going to depend on likes of our review for new customers Sadly..your front of house let's you down massively. The breakfast for us was sufficient cereal toast beverages.. if youre looking for more then not hotel for you. But for us cornflakes and likes were ample. I hope you take on board our review as people who know what makes the difference between a good review and people avoiding the bully girl kn front of desk. She really was appalling. She was like villa the hun. Very very poor advert for your hotel. If shes the bosses daughter.. Boss you raised one nasty little madam
