Property and staff were great. Just read fine print on extra costs. They charge $42 per day to park your car, $35 for resort fees, and then mega taxes. So it is about an extra $160 per day on top of the price you pay for hotel. It was a busy time and our cost per night was $669. That was a bit of a splurge for us at that price but after all said an done we were at $729

I never write any reviews for hotels, but I should probably let everyone know about our vacation trip to Opal Sand resort was phenomenal! The view is incredibly stunning. We watched the sunset 🌅 from our balcony. The hotel is very clean and they are all friendly. Also, they have the best 👨🍳

We were recommended this spot by an Opal manager at another location, Bert S, and it did not disappoint! Check in was efficient. We had a two queen beds on the 9th floor. The views here are outstanding and sunsets should not be missed on the balcony. The room was immaculate. I don't usually use the hotel toiletries but I need more of these! The bed was comfortable, the rooms were quiet. I never heard construction noise from next door. Loved the extra touches from the pantry on our floor, the night light in the bathroom, the smells of the hotel and the fridge drawer. We are not beach people so enjoyed the pool. The food and service were great at all of the restaurants. My only recommendation would be a coffee bar. I don't give 5 stars very often but this warrants it!

The hot tub is nice. The pool is warm. The staff is so kind and a great view of the ocean. the food was delicious.

Had a 5/5 experience! Next to the beach, next to bars and grills. Entertainment for everyone. Will definitely come back.

Wow. What a fantastic place. A perfect hotel for families and couples alike. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool is suitable for all ages and the staff are attentive at all times. Nick at the outside bar was especially welcoming remembering our names from the start.
