I arrived 20 minutes prior to check-in and was told I would receive a text when my room was ready. An hour later, no text, went back and was told “of course your room is ready.” There were remnants of the prior guest left in the room, had to go down to the front desk because the phone did not work in my room. I stayed 2 nights and received a text that the bar would be closed on night 2 - no explanation given. Valet was great, location was great but for the price a clean room, working phone & use of the bar would have been nice.

This is a great hotel in downtown Clemson, close to everything. We were in town for the Clemson vs UNC basketball game. The place is beautiful and the service was impeccable. Our room was very clean. Will definitely stay at the Shepherd on our next trip to Clemson.

This hotel is the best. Their staff is amazing. Beautifully decorated interior and exterior and the restaurant/coffee shop is amazing. I love this place. It has the perfect location!
