This is a great motel, very quite. The rooms are spacious & very clean, close to town as well. The staff are terrific, very helpful & friendly. The rooms have to exits, one to the parking & the another which goes out to pool area & restaurant. The meals at the restaurant are great, fast efficient service & good food. This is an ideal motel to stay due to being away from the Main Street, would highly recommend & it’s also a busy motel.

This old-style motel featured a queen and single bed with a newly furnished bathroom with a hand held shower which I prefer. Everything was clean and well appointed. The front door opened from the car park but there was also a back door opening onto a quiet grassy backyard courtyard and pool. The only downside for me was the heavy perfume in the room, so bring your antihistamines with you.

clean comfortable. would stay again. Can get room service food for breakfast. Did not try dinner. Easy check in. Easy 10 min walk to restaurants. Quiet. Good place to take a stop. Pool but did not try it out.

I have been staying at the Peppercorn Motel regularly, I have found the staff to always be friendly and helpful. Booking is easy and management is flexible with our bookings, I find the rooms to be comfortable. The restaurant menu is extensive and the meals are always very well presented and tasty. I do find it intriguing that management have to have a sign on the side door to the kitchen directing guests to order in the restaurant or by phone, this should be a common courtesy staying at a motel .

Normal hospitality services are adjustable or accepting of individuals needs and do their best by any paying customer Not the management here. Short term stay one night or two Probably ok But stay any longer and your outstaying the welcome. Dinner I have to admit was well done and tasty But an incorrect attitude undermines anything. Always had the feeling as if I was being watched. Quite uncomfortable, I Would stay here again but only if it was the last option or if grumpy pants management was replaced.

Booking was so easy, welcoming even better. The room large and the bed so comfortable. The menu for dinner and breakfast was varied. Loved it all...we will be back again. Location was away from the noise of the town and easy to find.

The rooms are a little tired and don't seem to have changed much over the years. What made this trip truly memorable was the meal in the restaurant. The blackboard menu was made up of gourmet delights from around the world - and all at very reasonable prices. The cassoulet was outstanding (as was everything we ate). Thank you, Saskia! This was a real treat.

I stayed one night at this property - the rooms are comfortable but getting tired and at $135 a night poor value for money, even allowing for the generally inflated prices encountered in mining regions. The air-conditioning was of the old "box" type and lighting was not the best. The reception desk had no breakfast menus although some were available in my room. I had dinner in the restaurant - music was too loud but was turned down on request and the staff forgot my entree of garlic bread. However, a free desert was offered as compensation.
