I recently stayed with family. The food and service was great. Nothing was too big of an ask for the staff. They went out their way to make sure we had a great time. Definitely would stay again and will be recommending to other family and friends.

We choose this hotel as a one night stop off whilst travelling down to Cornwall, and we're glad we did. The welcome from the receptionist was very friendly on our arrival and she gave clear instructions to our room and offered us a table in the restaurant that evening, which we accepted. The hotel, restaurant and room were all clean and comfortable, the restaurant food was excellent and cooked my steak to perfection, breakfast was a buffet, well stocked and replenished when needed. All the staff we encountered were fantastic, all in all a great stay, and we've booked for another night on the way back up north after our holiday in Cornwall. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and we will certainly use every year for our annual trip to Cornwall.

Walton park had some lovely views of the river, their restaurant has large windows looking over it. The staff were great and very friendly and the rooms were also comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends if they’d like a nice getaway!

We stayed two nights to enable us to have a boat cruise on the the Sunday. Hotel Car park available. Location of hotel, and distance from town good, Grounds very good with excellent views over the Bristol Channel. The hotel is traditional with a homely feel - no 'modern' gimmics The Staff were excellent - could not fault them. The food was well priced and very good, room good

Lovely location. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was good. The building was very hot and no option for thinner quilt. The bathroom needed some attention with mouldy grout. Limited menu for bar food and the property is a little tired. No USB in bedroom which is a bit of a basic in this day and age.

Very comfortable and quiet. Just perfect for a quiet gat away for 2. Restful, relaxing and little or no noise at all. Close to nice little village with ll the amenities and larger shops if required.

Stayed the night before a family wedding (the wedding was not at the hotel) We arrived at around 2:50 pm and were quite firmly told we couldn’t check in until 3pm.p! we didn’t have a sea view, but we’re facing the road which was quite noisy . The room itself looked very past it’s prime - very 99s/2000s. The window was covered by a blind that looked dirty. Whilst the room itself was clean, the bed was uncomfortable, with a spring mattress which I could feel if I laid on my side. Many of the wedding guest were staying there the night before the wedding and we were all having a great time drinking in the bar - which closed at 10pm which seemed a little early when they could have made much more money out of us. The breakfast the next morning was good - buffet with a good choice although my husband said his egg was slightly undercooked. The sausages were really nice. To sum up, it was convenient, clean (apart from the blind - also the window sill was visibly rotten) with nice views out to sea. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful, but it feels a bit dated and tired
