Travelodge Ashbourne

The bed is so comfortable.it is always so clean and well managed, whenever we use this hotel we are confident that we will have a restful stay. Having stayed at other Travelodge hotels, we find this one to be of a consistently high standard, well done Ashbourne

Really nice place to stay for visiting many interesting areas/landmarks. Recently modernised and was very clean and tidy.

Stayed here for one night when visiting Alton towers (only a 20 minute drive from here). Lots of parking insight and an Aldi literally a stones throw from the hotel entrance which was great for snacks ect. The room was standard and clean. Some broken things in room (broken window handle and broken plastic around the shower) but overall average. Nice average room and value for money. Only negative was the noise level was quite high. We could hear slamming of doors, phone alarms going off and loud tvs through the night which disturbed our sleep. The rooms were also slightly warm and there’s no AC just a small fan. Overall average for the price paid.

Easy to check in and great location with a lovely pub next door and Aldi right across the road. Great location near Alton towers

Great location. Clean and serviceable rooms though shower is poor with unreliable temperature, and only 30 mins free wifi considering price of room smacks of penny pinching in these days of connectivity.

Very good location. Good pub next door - the Stepping Stones - which has an extensive menu and the food was lovely. Aldi just across which was good for snacks, lunch etc. Decent parking too.

This was our first stay in a Travelodge, we were very impressed. The check in and out was easy, the hotel was spotlessly clean, well organised, our room comfortable, even though the hotel was busy it was quiet and peaceful. A supermarket is opposite the hotel good for essentials and a good pub The Stepping Stones next to the Travelodge, where we had an evening meal. Great base for exploring Ashbourne, Ilam Park, Dovedale Stepping stones, Carsington Water and further afield in the Peak District.

Clean and comfortable. Booked last minute so didn't get one of the cheaper deals but still great and what you'd expect from a Travelodge. Aldi over the road for an easy breakfast (a chain pub too, but we didn't have time to try it). A bit of a walk into town but easy enough if you are mobile.

This was a good stay but really needed someone on reception before 12 so that we could ask a question or 2. Horrible not being able to have that person when you want help. Would have made that extra care so much better
