Travelodge Ashbourne

This accommodation is a clean hotel with views overlooking the countryside from the window. It also has a stunning pub called the stepping stones right next to it. With the free parking aswell. It's a great location to use.

Hotel was lovely and clean, very handy having an Aldi and a restaurant/pub right next to it, room was clean and tidy just the tv was abit small xoxo

We stayed here whilst traveling by Motorbike to Scotland, Travelodge is well located to walk into the lovely town of Ashbourne and has a pub and Aldi next door should you need them.

Easy to book and check-in, free parking, clean and in good condition with hot water, with a restaurant a few yards away, the lodge provided all that I need for a short stay at a reasonable price compared to competitors.

I have stayed in several Travelodge and the standard can vary. in my opinion this is one of the better ones and a fair reflection of what TL aim to provide.

Genuinely surprised at how poor this hotel is considering its newly refurbished, definitely not worth the price we paid. The mattress was staggeringly uncomfortable, I assume they call it a “dreamer mattress” because whilst on it you dream of a more comfortable mattress, I might as well have slept on a park bench, it would have been comparable in comfort. The shower had poor water pressure and every time someone else in the hotel ran a tap it went burning hot or freezing cold. To top it off the hotel allow people to smoke at the entrance which then wafted through the open window which has to be open because the room was approximately the temperature of the sun. The hotel was clean and well situated is the only positive I can list.

Amazing location right next door to a decent pub serving decent food, supermarket right over the road, stunning views across Ashbourne. The rooms were amazingly clean and very spacious. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for you. I will be back visiting family soon.

Once again a warm welcome back from the manager who remembered us and was so appreciative of our return. 10/10 for a fab memory. The hotel has undergone a facelift and the rooms were a spotless as our previous visit, hotel nice and quiet and plenty of free parking for guests, so much to see in the peak district and lots of advice from staff on where to visit/eat. This will be another visit later in the year, thankyou all.

Special thanks to Annie, Leanne and all staff and customers during our stay at this lovely hotel. Myself and the team have recently completed a referb at this hotel. All staff have been extremely kind, generous and courteous. To deal with what we have had to do, to change the hotel and also their day to day roles was amazing. They are all a great credit to Annie.
