Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clinton

Stay was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast really hit the spot, tasty. We're always hoping for better coffee at the breakfast bar, it was just ok. We'd definitely stay here again. Plenty of space to walk the dogs too.

Beds bad, pillows bad. Curtains torn. Would never stay here or recommend!

I stayed in Room 311 at the end of October, and I woke up with 6 bed bug bites. I informed the staff so they could begin investigation, and I had to call back 6 days later as no one had informed me if it was confirmed or not. I called the Manager, Mandy, the next day as she did not call me in the AM like I was told, and she confirmed there were bed bugs. They gave me hotel points, but they would not refund me my stay nor would they pay for the fumigation of my car (I left all luggage in my car as I didn't want to bring the bed bugs into my home). I communicated with Guest Relations of IHG as I have been using IHG since 2013, and they told me they could not do anything and was up to the Hotel Management team. Communication was lacking, and they were not kind or understanding. I highly recommend not staying at this hotel!

Property was as expected for a normal Holiday Inn Express. Clean and everything needed worked in room. No issues with room. Issue came at the beginning for checkin. My fiance and I booked through ******* to save money. We had to put separate names of adults on each room. This made check in ridiculous. The staff was new and had to call multiple people to help get it done. Tried to say we only had one room at first. Tried to say we hadn't paid already when we paid weeks ago. Couldn't use the same card for both rooms when it came to the incidental charge we have to pay at check in. It took us over 45 minutes to check in. To be told the manager will let us have the room and he will fix it later. Hopefully we don't see a double charge later. Almost makes me not want to use ******* or come back here again.

This property would have gotten all top reviews, but 2 days after our stay the place started drafting money from our account. Not sure we will ever stay in any IHG hotel again

Our stay in the Holiday Inn Express in Clinton, OK was one of (if not THE) worse hotel experience our family has had. I say so for the following reasons: 1. When we arrived, we were informed that the suite we had reserved with a King Bed & Queen Bed for our party of 5 was no longer available... that they had "been overbooked". They offered us a King bed with a pull out queen sofa or could send us to the hotel across the highway with two queens. Not wanting to deal with changing hotels at nearly midnight, we said we'd accept the King with pull out sofa. 2. The desk manager (Jeff) seemed annoyed that we were frustrated they had not kept our room available. He seemed to indicate that we should just be happy we were still getting a room. When he asked me to sign a paper with the fee rate for the room, he was frustrated that I said I wouldn't pay more for the downgrade room than for the original room I'd reserved. After arguing for minutes, he finally discounted the room the whopping $5 to match the original room rate. Most hotels would have been extremely apologetic and offered a discount, it not a comp night... not this place. 3. When we finally got to our room, we found that the pull out sofa was a twin, not a queen. We ended up having to cart in multiple cots to the room to make room for those in the room... again to the sighs of the staff. I could never, ever recommend someone stay in this hotel based on our experience.
