This is an older property that was great to stay at. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Some of the rooms facilities need to be updated.

Wildwood is my go to place when I stay in Des Moines. The staff are always so pleasant, the room amazing, and I always sleep soundly.

We found a bed bug shell in our bed the next morning and the staff refused to comp us what so ever.

Great decor and ambiance. The pool was warm. Hot tub was hot. Perfect for my kids. The pool is a little over 4 feet deep at the deepest part so no diving. The continental breakfast had lots of delicious pastry and other sugary carb options. Eggs were the only protein option and they were overcooked. Would be nice to see a wider variety of protein. I would definitely stay here again.
