We just want to both thank you very much for an amazing day in Fernhill on April 6th for our wedding. From start to finish, everything was perfect! The staff, decor, food, drinks reception (the list goes on) was just incredible. I had heard great things about Fernhill before the day and it certainly lived up to if not surpassed all expectations. This hotel is exceptional and has something special that most other hotels don't have. Also the personal service that we received from Ann was second to none, not to mind mentioning being greeted at the front door, by the owner Michael. Beautiful hotel, amazing setting. Carol & the staff are excellent. Food was suburb. Had a gorgeous dinner and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order. My room had a panoramic sea view, was spotless and very comfortable. Looking forward to going back again.

Fernhill house hotel take a bow,what an absolutely glorious experience.We stayed in the rose bedroom for two nights which was extremely spacious,bed was super comfy and bathroom was large with a beautiful bath.we dined both evenings in the hotel and what a delight,there was a beautiful selection to choose from all beautifully fresh,highlights were the black pudding starter(clonakilty of course)the steak(melt in the mouth)and the short rib of beef(nicest beef my husband had ever tasted)apple crumble was a delight.Breakfast was also beautiful made with good quality fresh produce.I could not write this review without paying particular attention to the staff,every one of them are your finest asset,warm,friendly,chatty and so attentive,some of the finest customer service we have ever come across,gladly recommend and will definitely be returning

Our 2 night stay at Fernhill was fabulous. All the staff were super nice and friendly, The room was clean, spacious and we were welcome with a couple of lovely gifts (chocolate and free drink). The garden is well worth a visit, enjoyed seeing the lights, the plants and all the bees. We also had a drink at the bar and ate of an evening, this was very good and so was the breakfast. Probably our nicest stay away ever. Thanks to all who made it happen at Fernhill.

There is much to praise about the Fernhill experience. Firstly from start to finish, the staff and indeed the owners were warm and enthisiastic. Nothing was a problem and we felt truly at the centre of the experience. The tour of the house and magnificent gardens was an an unexpected and informative bonus. The room was perfect with generous bathroom and the bed was truly oppulent. The food was also exceptionel. At dinner the salt and pepper mills were for decoration only. The food was beatifully seasoned, there was plenty of choice and everything was cooked as ordered. The slow cooked pork belly starter was a real hit. The mains were fantastic and My wife referred to the Lemon Posset was one of the nicest things she had every eaten on a desert plate. Breakfast was also varied and generous. Perhaps the waffles should be avoided. A tiny whinge in an otherwise perfect mini break. And of course Clonakility itself is a brilliant little town with lots of great pubs, life music venues, and is within striking distance of most of west corks most beautiful areas.

Where do I begin ! My now husband and I booked our wedding here in November 2021 and got married September 2023. From the moment we visited and met with the wonderful most amazing wedding co-ordinator Ann we were sold. Ann made everything from start to finish so easy, enjoyable and stress free as much as possible for us. On the wedding day we had exceptionally hot weather, the staff we quick to provide umbrella's for shelter in the outdoor area where the ceremony took place and also water for all the guests! Such a nice touch. The staff are a credit to the hotel and to the O' Neill family. We had the most amazing day and had absolutely nothing to complain about. The food was unbelievable, service outstanding. Not one complaint from any guests. This place is by far a well deserved winner of the best wedding venue in Ireland.

I was just after attending a family wedding in this hotel I found the grounds and facilities excellent The food was some of the best I have ever tasted.... Now my main reason for writing this review was to say that every staff member I met down there was absolutely brilliant I could not say enough about them they are a credit to both their families and to the hotel...would definitely recommend this hotel
