On the first night after about two hours I got bitten by a bed bug and caught it too. Went down to the reception and did get a new room for the night. However the rest of the response was totally lackluster even though I showed the bug to the receptionist, he wasn’t really interested to look at it. He also told me that Pest Control could not come out the same day because of Thanksgiving. Of course this is totally unacceptable. The next morning the manager of the hotel called me to say that they were not going to reimburse me for the room (even though you can imagine that my night was ruined) and she doubted that there were even bad bugs. My business partner and I both have status with Hilton and it just shows what your loyalty is worth to Hilton. Very disappointed.
