Very nice establishment to take a break before or after the Transalpina. The only downside is the distance from the city center.

Excellent hotel and breakfast

We spent two nights at this hotel. The first we arrived at night from Curtea de Arges, the Transfagarasan highway and Sibiu. Since we hadn't had dinner, they let us go into the dining room and order something for dinner before closing the kitchen, which was appreciated. The food served was correct. This room, which was also used for the buffet breakfast, was spacious and with distance between tables. That's it for the good. Two unpleasant things happened to us. The first is that we delivered some pants to be washed and when we asked for them the next day they couldn't find them and when they appeared the stain on it had not been completely removed. And the second is that on the last night we went up to the hotel and we had bought some dinner along the way, since the restaurant's menu was quite short and we didn't want to repeat what we had from the previous night. When we sat at the tables outside to order drinks and something to eat from the menu (in order not to spend too much money and consume something from the hotel), the waiter told us that the kitchens were closed and it was earlier than the night before! From then on it was all bad faces, somewhat lazy behavior on the part of the waiter, and curt and challenging responses. In short, the trea**ent was not very good and the hotel was not even close to the city center. The best thing is the price, about €47.50 for a double room, with breakfast included. If I went back, I would look for another option.
