Thames Head Inn

Super pub to stay in. The rooms were lovely and tucked away from the pub noise and the busy road. Just perfect. We had a great meal too and the service just fab. Nicola and Ben are great Landlords and their staff too. We were house hunting so only stayed overnight.

A little expensive being a little in the sticks. Foof in restaurant was veaied and good, but a little like the wine, expensive. No shaving point in bathroom. Beds very comfortable, though twin bedded room on the small side.

Great quiet cosy and really comfortable room. Pub was nicely busy but not too crowded - perfect for a weekend getaway. Staff were great and couldn't do anymore Will stay again.

The hotel had good parking facilities. My room was clean and tidy and quiet at night. I had a meal in the hotel with my family and the food was excellent. there was no shower. One of these handset attachments on the taps. I am 81 so could not stand in the bath holding the shower head in one hand while showering. If i visit again i will ask for a room with a walk in shower. The towel i used was not changed and the used tea cup was not replaced. Nor was the water.

Great little pub and great little rooms. Cozy but spacious, perfect for a weekend. Every single member of staff we interacted with was incredibly hospitable and pleasant. Fantastic breakfasts. Excellent location on the main road and minutes from kemble station. Good wifi. The only thing we would mention is the shower is just a hose attached to the bath - it would be great if there were a wall bracket and shower screen, and you can tell from the floor condition other people accidentally turn the bathroom into a wet room in the way we did on the first day (you get the hang of it after a couple of attempts). But overall we would highly highly recommend - it's a gem.

Only stayed one night, comfortable room, good food in a nice friendly atmosphere. Definitely will book again.
