It did have a kot if traffic (semi trailers) passing closeby. I enquired at re eption about further travel and road conditions and other information. The receptionist was unable to answer and dudnt offer alternatives. I ended up going to the lical.police station. The room was clean, in good condition, had a decent refrigerator and all in all was great.

The motel is close to everything in the main street. Located on the highway in and out of town.
Although a bit pricier than we would normally pay for an overnight stay, the room was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Mould in the shower, curtains with backing facing in, wifi unusable, carpet needs cleaning. Place needs a good tidy up but the meals were ok.

Even though this motel has No Vacancy signs illuminated there is 75% vacancy. On the night we stayed there was about 10 rooms occupied and a huge amount unused. The local gossip is that they only sell some rooms each night and then once all the rooms need cleaning they bring in cleaners. Strange business model with so much lost opportunity. Feel sorry for Cobar for all the tourist dollars they are missing out on. Room was dark old style furnishings. Most disappointing was that all the upper surfaces of the room were dirty and really needed a thorough cleaning. We had planned to have dinner in the restaurant but it was closed. Local gossip is it never opens. Told they also own the motel across the street but never stayed there. There are better quality motels in town and stayed there on our return and were happy. Hopefully the owner sends in some cleaners and straightens out the running of this motel as it has great potential to be good accommodation with some investment and care.

Property good, on your site it said breakfast & dinner were available however they were not (and this is why we chose the property.
However in saying that breakfast and dinner were available within walking distance.
