Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cocoa Beach

My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. Very simple nothing over the top. My favorite part was the breakfast.

Air condition in the room didn’t work very well but overall experience was great

John at the front desk checked us in with a smile ,we were in Room 106, and he is very helpful and polite, he also got us all set up for the shuttle to the cruise port, and as of today 3-10-2024 it is $8.00 person The beds are comfortable There is a Publix Grocery Store right next door, just in case you want a snack, this hotel also has breakfast in the mornings, there is also a microwave and fridge and Keirug single cup coffee pot , they have a pool and hot tub, the rooms are extremely clean and we love that it is all tile flooring , we will stay here again for our next cruise

No warning under construction - very noisy, and no discount on price. A lot of unhappy people while walking around

It was under construction which was fine, desk staff was wonderful rooms very nice. walking distance to resteraunts was great and beach right across the street

This review is not for the hotel itself. But the holiday and vacation package crew. Terrible customer service This weekend I arrived in Melbourne, Florida for a holiday inn vacation package, which included a tour to the resort and possible purchase of a timeshare. Halfway through the presentation with Lilly, I was approached by the sales mgr Brian, who claimed that I violated the parameters of the package. He said I arrived to the tour with a woman by the name of L**** Parrot. Which disqualified me. As a result I did not receive the $100 or points promised and would be billed for the retail price of the room for 3 days. I was instructed to reach out to customer service, which I did. I was told the accusations came directly from Brian and he told customer service I admitted that I knew this person. (Which I didn't I can't imagine why he would lie. )But my first thought was it was because I was black and even though I could afford the timeshare they didn't want me at THAT location. I was treated unfairly and I didn't seem to have a voice. I was humiliated In front of the other guest and escorted out. I went outside and called customer service again. In tears. I couldn't imagine how one person's opinion had cost me so much money that weekend. I have reached out to customer service several times since then and discovered. I was billed for 3 packages @$200/each. What a scam! I contacted a lawyer in the area. He told me they were in breach of the contract.
