DoubleTree by Hilton Cocoa Beach-Oceanfront

Did not like the furniture. The bathroom was small. No shower gel in the container. No privacy on the balcony. No free coffee.

I would never stay at this hotel again. Simply put - it’s way too expensive for its worth. But we had issues right from check in with keys not working, elevators are extremely slow (I ended up taking the stairs more than the elevator and got there quicker) The food at Starlite is just fair and expensive too. We opted in for the bottomless mimosas the first day, only to find out within an hour they ended for the week and had no idea until we were “cut off” cause the time was past for bottomless mimosas. But we could pay for individual mimosas instead… We had a pizza one day that was somewhat reasonable and got it another night and it wasn’t fit to eat. The beds were very uncomfortable. The rooms were renovated but very cheaply, you could tell. The tub was still from 1987. You had to pay per bottle of water in the room unless you were a Hilton member. Parking was $12 a day you were there too. I went down to the store one night to get some ice cream at 7:52 and was told they were closed. I asked what time they closed and she said 8pm.. so I said it’s 7:52 I should be able to get what I came for and she said no my cash is done. And two other people walked in to buy as I was walking out but she refused to help them. I spoke to another couple in the elevator that were checking out, they had a horrible experience too and were checking out early & got 50% of their money back.

Best hotel to grab a drink! Sam was my bartender. She has such high positive energy, great at making drinks with a broad knowledge of different cocktails and always smiling! 10/10 would always recommend. Best service from a bar i've ever had. Cant wait to come back again soon!

The pool tiles were broken and left as such with big orange cones. The giant chest game was broken and left into pieces. As for our room, we had huge rust in it. The walls and doors were all chipped. The food at the main restaurant was either over cooked or undercooked and at best mediocre. The service at the tables was super long. As for their provisions corner, we received a perished salad and the personnel wasn’t able to inform us of presence of allergens in their baked goods.

Great staff

This was a decent stay, we liked the hotel but something just rubbed us the wrong way a bit. I feel like the staff were unprofessional. I think next time we leave the cruise we will head back to Orlando. We didn’t love the beach (not the hotels fault) and we also didn’t love the location/area. Pros: publix in walking distance, literally across the street. Free parking as well. Also close to Kennedy space centre. Again, overall we gave this stay a 3 out of 5 stars. It certainly wasn’t bad but it was great.

Booked a suite to have more room but the extra room had no lighting at all. I mean no wall sconce, no desk or floor lamp, not even a night light. And that’s where the little kitchen area was…but no light at all to prep a meal. The rather huge room could easily have fit a table and two chairs but nothing other than a sofa and the kitchen cabinet, leaving no where for in room dining. The Starlite restaurant was so noisy with kids we cancelled our reservation, so all in all, a disappoin**ent.

I chose this hotel because it is a beachfront property and I wanted to watch the evening Atlas launch. On arrival the hotel appears to be well cared for. The lobby gives you the impression it is much larger than it is. There is the Starlite Resturant with a bar, a small Starbucks, and a small gift store. The front desk team were polite and professional. I had my room key in just a few minutes. I had paid for a partial ocean view and that is what I got but it was a very nice view looking over toward Cape Canaveral. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. There was a microwave, coffee maker, and mini frig in the room. The room was quiet despite being not too far from the elevator and ice machine. The king size bed was very comfortable with clean bedding. The balcony while small was nice to relax and watch the waves from my room. The toilet was not working on arrival to my room; there was a maintenance worker sent a few minutes up after I called. For my inconvenience I received a bag with some SunChips and a candy bar with an apology which was very nice. The pool and pool bar are very close. The pool is small, more than a few people in it and it could get crowded real quick. There are a few tables and chaise loungers to relax at. The area was quite pretty and lively. I had hoped to see the evening launch so I was happy to see there was a small but somewhat steep ramp without any railings from the pool area to the boardwalk to get to the beach. There are 2 sets of steps but I do better with no steps. I got a togo pizza from the restaurant which I didn’t personally care for. I was having some difficulty carrying my food to my room and a worker Brooke from the restaurant helped me carry it up without my even asking. Talk about going above and beyond. The restaurant is spacious and airy. I had gotten a mahi sandwich for lunch which was very good. All in all this hotel is def good value for the money. As an aside there is no valet and self parking is on hotel property for $12.
