Not a great experience but, I will write both positive and negative. The cons were it is very outdated and needs some TLC, it does not look like the photos. The check in lady I dealt with Rosanne was very unprofessional and made several condescending remarks, along with accusations when asked if we could check in early to our room she had a very unpleasant demeanor. They provided only 1 roll of toliet paper in the room and there office was closed, so I then had to go buy my own toilet paper.Where as most hotels rooms provide at least one back up roll. They also charge for ice as there competitors have ice machines available for there guest. The absolute #1 problem was their beds were the most horrific hardest surface beds literally ever made. We all exsperienced very little rest on them and lots of pain it felt like sleeping on a picnic bench. And there shower had no water pressure, and very pricey for no pool, hot tube, gym or other amenities etc. However, the pros were they did hv a grill and Pavillion along with a mini kitchen that had all kitchen assories. I myself will never reccomend this place or ever be a returning guest.

The shower didn’t work. No hot water in bathroom sink. Really ruined our beach trip. Sandy and had to take cold sink bath. Never again. Beach was close and beautiful. Room was quaint. Airconditioner Ed blasted both bed even turned up. I cannot recommend.

For me a great 4 nights in a beachfront front room in a 1950's era motel. I had room 9 from June 26-30 2023 and I found the room clean, comfortable, and a fantastic view. The grounds were well maintained and the staff were efficient as check in held no surprises, though not overly friendly. Room 9 is one of the beachfront rooms. Don't expect luxury, this is a motel. The grounds offer a covered pavillion, grills, nice lawn, and the main reason for going: the beach. The scale is quite small, this is a vintage 1950s beach motel. Perfect for me. Perhaps not for those expecting more than should be expected from a motel. There are some possible quirks with small motels. The cost considering I compared beachfront only rooms was lower than others. Several bars and restaurants and some shopping is within walking distance. A grocery store is a few minutes away by car. I enjoyed my time there and living about an hour away felt it was a reasonable bargain to vacation so close to home. It will appeal to those liking retro, simple, smaller scale lodgings, surfers, and those who want the beach to be just a few steps away. I would happly return. There are fewer and fewer of these original motels as the years go by.

Me and my mother went for our stay in May of 2022, upon arriving we were bombarded with swarms of bugs. Once entering our room and beginning to unpack we notice many smushed bugs, live and dead ants everywhere you could possibly imagine, and even lizard poop in our room (very unsanitary). We then approached the front desk with these issues considering the room was supposed to have been cleaned before our arrival (no one wants to stay in a bug encrusted room). We took pictures of all the smushed and live bugs and even took the lizard poo to them. Chelsea (the owner) was extremely unhelpful with our frustrations and we were told we would not be eligible for a refund, even though we had already moved our things out and booked another place before approaching them. The owner stated to go through my card company to get my money back that way, opposed to giving us a simple refund for the filth we encountered for our 20 minutes of being at the motel. My card company would not issue my money back, I even went through *********** (where we originally booked the stay) and only received 15% of what we had paid. I’ve tried contacting the motel itself requesting a call back from Chelsea countless times who always seems to be “unavailable” and will not return my calls. Do not stay at this place you will regret it!!!!

I seldom write reviews but this is one I needed to write. The motel is old, built in the mid 50’s…that is part of the charm of this place. It is old school Florida and is not for everyone. If you want a CLEAN decent place to stay this is it. If you want all the amenities that some expect, do not stay here. It is a basic clean room with a small kitchen. Everything works but it is dated, again part of the charm. The parking lot is small but we had no issue parking. If you have a truck you may find it tight. There are some very good restaurants within a block or two walk so that makes it very easy. The only issue I had was the bed was harder than I would have liked.

Needed a l place to stay for a run that my husband participated in. Found this quaint motel online and decided to stay! It was so nice here! Right on the beach and quiet! The room reminded me of something out of the 60's! Lady at the desk was so friendly and she upgraded us because my husband was retired military. gave us a room overlooking the Gulf. Like a small efficiency apar**ent with everything included, even the dishes! The woman at the desk even directed us to a wonderful place to eat called Jazzys! It was just a block over from the hotel and they have wonderful seafood! We will definitely be back here! The price was just right for the view! Even saw the cruise ships departing that nite wherever they were going!

Recently, I wanted to see the Launch of Artemis 1, I didn't have a lot of money to spend, but I wanted to beat the crowds and stay the night on Sunday, August 28, 2022 so that my husband and I could view Artemis 1 Monday Morning. We booked a room through *********** and tried to get the cheapest room just for one night on the beachside to be able to wake up and view the launch. We ended up with "Sea Aire Oceanfront Motel" which with taxes and fees came to $178.00/night. We requested early check in, but they couldn't guarantee it, so as we are also Annual Passholders for Kennedy Space Center, we ventured there first, spent our day there and checked into the motel. When we arrived as common practice, hotels usually get your credit card and place holds for $100 to cover room, etc. The room was nothing to write home about, its a 1950's motel without amenities (no pool/Wall Air Units) it also said Oceanview we paid extra for, and the only thing you could see from our room was the hotel grounds. it is what we needed for the one night. When I realized later in the day that they actually charged my card $100 I called them while out to dinner and they said that I would get it back, then I went to the office and they said again it would go back on my card. When we checked out, I finally realized that I was not getting the $100 back, and that it was an "EVENT FEE" . The check-in paperwork I had signed the previous day (because the disclaimer on the paper didn't say anything about an event fee), it was hidden in the last line of another page so that when you sign in, essentially you are signing off on paying that fee. Then as we checked out, they charged my card again for $12.00, they couldn't tell me why, just that I had a balance (which I didn't) I had prepaid through *********** there should have been no fees when I arrived at all. I wanted to make everyone aware of this, they weren't nice, they basically said that every hotel on the space coast does this from five star to two star and that's the way it is. By the way I checked with the Tourism board for the Space Coast and this EVENT FEE is NOT an accepted practice and they have never heard of an event fee for space launches. The Motel said they would call me, but never did. I have filed complaints with the Space Coast Tourism boards, the BBB and the Depar**ent of Business Reg in Florida as to this unethical practice. I have sought my refund and investigation through *********** as they were not aware of this practice and are looking into getting me a refund but were unsuccessful as they said they had my signature on the check in paperwork. I very much feel that everyone should be aware of these practices and how they made us (Floridians) in our home state feel like we just got taken for a ride. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I'm not trying to not pay my fair share, but this was unethically done and they need to somehow be held accountable in anyway possible, be it a rev

The Sea Aire Employees are extremely rude. Collin the desk clerk threatened me and my husband with physical violence! He was extremely insulting. I got a print out of the wifi code and gate code. To my shock, the make and model of our vehicle was: F#$K. When I asked Collin the reason for the F word on my paperwork, he told me, in front of Chelsea the general manager..."I wanted you to F#$K OFF". My husband I decided we needed to find a new motel for the rest of our vacation. I checked out 2 days later after we found another motel. Jasmine told me there are no refunds. Which is not true, they only have a cancellation fee. In the meantime, I am out $1,100.00 plus tax. AND they rented room #10 and made even more money! My advice to you is, pay by the day...so when you have had enough of this rude crew, you won't be out of any money. I am starting a law suit with this motel. If you have had problems, I have the actual owners names and addresses.
