We started the trip with a long wait, well over 1h-1h30m for what was meant to be the express transfer we’d paid extra for; the company (DT transfers) clearly hadn’t organised the transfers prior, as then four un-named mini buses arrived with little organisation as to who went in what one, out of around 30 people. When we eventually arrived at the hotel, it felt very secluded and away from life but the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were disappointed to note we had to pay extra for wifi - this was not noted on the advert and no asterisk* to show it was extra. The room was clean and well equipped and the bed was very large, although only a single duvet for such a large bed between us. The next morning we went down for breakfast and there was a big selection but only labels on selected things, so we had no idea what was what for the rest so were a little reluctant to try. We had a Turkish bath and massage and that was wonderful; real time and effort went into this and although more expensive than others away from the hotel, you didn’t feel conned for the price. The staff are quite pushy to attempt to try and make you book more for the rest of the trip. There’s plenty of sun beds and the pools are large. We favoured the pool with the canopy and bar where we loved the iced coffees but be aware, these are alcoholic and not your standard iced coffees! The surrounding area is in noway picturesque. You can see mountains in the distance but nothing photo worthy and the town (a short walking distance over the road) was just discount fakes stores and holiday items; no nice restaurants (from what we found). The beach shuttle came every 10 minutes and we used this daily to get lunch at the beach bar, as there were fresh breads and kebabs every day and seemed a much better option for us for lunches (this is included as part of the hotel). The beach itself was crowded with rows and rows of sunbeds for both this and surrounding hotels and, again, not the most picturesque but pleasant enough. We opted for a boat trip for the river, green canyon and side old town harbour. We did not get to see green canyon and no mention of it either; however we were not left disappointed as Side old town was beautiful and made up for anything else. We wished we stayed in the old town rather than where we did as this was much more of the Turkey we were expecting. The ruins are visible under the glass flooring, views were stunning and such a quaint little town. We actually came back here on the Wednesday because it was so lovely. We were extremely disappointed to find out that there were not as many ala cartes as noted on the online advert and furthermore, you had to pay extra! Again, no mention and no asterisk to show. One of the main reasons we booked this one was based on the food options but overall this was the most disappointing part of our holiday. 4th Sept 2024 and currently at Oz Side Premium We are here for a week and following a few questions from people on Facebook I thought to post a Mid-Holiday review. Check in Perfect, we asked for a specific type of room, the team at reception checked and gave us the room that suited our requirements as they had one available Room ＞ Immaculate and stunning, no other words required ＞ Air-conditioning- works perfectly and we really do need it with current Side temperatures at 35c WiFi - what an amazing signal in all areas of hotel, including Bars, Reception, Room and Restaurants. Bar Service - so good, the team at all the bars are so upbeat, nothing is too much trouble. Pool Area ＞ So clean and well maintained, the pool team will get you loungers if you can't see any, or help you with your umbrella shade if required - so good. ＞ The music is so good, upbeat or chilled depending on time of day and what activities are taking place ＞ The pool activities range for all including family games, water polo, aqua aerobics and more. Beach ＞ The beach is immaculate, there are loungers available all day, no matter what time you visit you will get a lounger. ＞ Sand and Sea, very clean (far too many selfish people are dropping cigarette ends though). The sea water is so clean and warm, as in almost bath like, the hotel beach area is private and shallow, so safe for families. ＞ The Beach Bar and restaurant are great, good choice of food, ice cold beers cocktails and juices. Restaurants There is a huge choice at all meal times, my wife has tried so many dishes we don't see at home in the UK, as well as the 1st class pastas and amazing omelettes for breakfast. However...... , as a vegetarian I have struggled, nothing has the ”V” for Vegetarian symbol so you really need to rely on visual look, unfortunately on a couple of occasions I have taken something that looked vegetarian only to see that there was meat within it. I have been eating a lot of salad and bread and found out today the Pool Bar done Pizza at lunch which helped, but as I enjoy trying local food and not being able to see if it is ”V” for vegetarian then it has been my only negative. So we are on Day 3 of 7, I will post again when we return home and if anyone has ANY questions please message me and I will help with honesty - we save all year for our holidays so want to make it great, and so far (except for my Vegetarian diet) this has been so good and we will be coming back, with friends for a chilled break and again hopefully as a family group next summer. Our overall experience with family was good. If you are not very demanding , you should be satisfied..In fact, we have been to a lot of hotels and places, we would honestly assess this hotel as 4 stars. Definitely it’s not a 5 starts due to interiors of rooms, low score of cleanliness and not impressive bar service. Pool is small, but beach is located 10 minutes walk away from the hotel, also shuttle is provided. When we arrived it was very late, at midnight and we were greeted by receptionist Mustafa (tall man). Mustafa seemed not very friendly member of staff, didn’t make us feel welcomed . I presume he might have been tired , who knows. We booked 1 family room and were under assumption that we are going to be at least in 2 bedrooms separated by opened arch but it didn’t happen. I think in 5* hotel you won’t be offered to sleep in 1 room all together (1 double bed, 1 single and 1 rolling bed . Even in terms of ethical standards it’s something shocking. We had to pay extra to be in duplex room and to have a bit of more space and obviously privacy. The room was just dirty (dust everywhere) and with poor wall paint. We were upset . Nevertheless the most important thing for us was to relax. Food was very various and delicious. Staff is diligent and friendly, everyone is helpful. In general, it was quite good. See pictures attached 😉 For 5 days for family this hotel is suitable, you will enjoy.

Отдыхали в отеле в июле 2022-го года с ребёнком 6 лет. В целом, понравилось. Когда дали номер на 1-м этаже, немного расстроились, но в итоге всё отлично получилось. У нас было очень тихо. При этом столовая и бассейн были под боком. Вид на забор, за которым пустырь. Неживописно, но нормально. Один раз поздно вечером к нам приходил ёжик) Когда через несколько дней предложили переселить повыше, мы отказались) Пляж отличный. Лежаки всегда были в наличии. Заход в море хороший. Пляж находится не близко, но особых неудобств не было. Утром и вечером постоянно ходил автобус. Несколько раз добирались пешком. Кафе рядом с пляжем, действительно, находится не совсем рядом с пляжем, как сказано в других отзывах, но некритично далеко. У бассейна найти лежаки проблематично, если приходить не рано. Мы обычно находили один лежак на троих, потом купались и в процессе обрастали доп. лежаками. Горки – супер, сыну понравилось. В отеле отличный массаж. В соседних здания видели дешевле, но и в отеле цены приемлемые. В этот приезд экскурсии не брали. Ездили самостоятельно посмотреть античный Сиде. Рядом с отелем ходит маршрутка. На маршрутке и обратно добрались. Летали на парашюте втроём на пляже. Понравилось, но очень долго всё было) Пришлось прятаться от полицейского катера и ждать, когда они уедут. Детский клуб в отеле – огонь. Сын не хотел иногда идти на пляж, хотел быть в клубе «Тукан». Были русскоязычные аниматоры с детьми. Анимация стандартная для турецких отелей. Играли в «Бинго», но ничего не выиграли как обычно). Ходили на шоу – всё стандартно и, в основном, интересно. Понравилось шоу, где ребята на велосипедах всякие трюки делали, а вот танцевальные шоу были слабоваты в этот раз. Еда отличная и разнообразная. На ужине сложно найти место на улице – надо приходить сильно рано или сильно поздно. Но очередей нет. Плюс перекус есть постоянно. Лепёшки пекут и у бассейна, и в кафе на пляже. Алкоголь нормальный, но не блестящий. Вино невкусное. Пили джин-тоник, который обычно сносный в турецких отелях. В баре рядом с ресепшн наливали иностранный виски – приятно. Ходили в ресторан аля-карт. Еда не особо впечатлила, но один вечер было прикольно поесть не с шведским столом. В целом, рекомендую!

Rest at this hotel for three times! This year we will go there again. I don't know where negative reviews about this hotel come from. Maybe we'll be recognized already . We usually go or at the beginning of the season or at the end. The people are smaller and the weather is more comfortable for us. Last year it was from October 20 to October 30 this in 2023 Weather was just chic No one day missed on the beach. The Turks said that the summer returned after October 25 it was even better. Very many left everywhere it was very free and on the beach there was little people and in the restaurant there was little people and even on the street along the shops there was little people. The sellers The basic argument ”End of the season” was very good to save. And the hotel 🏨 excellent We took the 2022 room for the second time almost as if to go to Turkey on a dacha

My wife and I have stayed in many hotels, but Selin Hotel changed our perception of the hotel. Employees literally revolve around you to please you. Friendly staff motivates you, food and cleanliness are very good. Since we came out of season, some bars and pools were closed, but the indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath were open. The sauna was in service at 09:00, I think it was very good, we were generally satisfied, thank you to the staff for the service.
