I canceled all three rooms at the front desk after seeing the condition of the facility.

This hotel is just gross, your going to think oh it’s not that bad it’s a cheap rate and it’s only one or two nights. No don’t do it! Floor was dirty, lamps not working, door to connecting room not locked, bathroom dirty, hair (not mine) all over the pillow on the bed, hair in the bed, flies, you name it this place had it. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at and one of the most unsafe I’ve ever felt. People absolutely overdose and other illegal things here for sure. This is not worth it!

Needs more light fixtures, receptacles that work, coffee machine broke in room, bare continental breakfast, no room service for towels or vacuuming or trash, no ice machines but new one not unboxed yet, no pool as of 5/20/23 still covered.

Most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in, mattress wasn’t clean bedding had cigarette burn holes. Dirt all over the floor upon check in and the bathtub was filthy. Mold on the wall by the ac unit. Electrical wires sitting on the floor behind the bed.

We stopped here on a Thursday afternoon to get a room. The desk clerk was friendly and informed us that our rate would be less if we booked online instead of at the counter which we did. She put us in a room facing the street and the noise from the road and the people talking in the parking lot was loud most of the night. There was a single, thin, blanket on the bed so my wife went down to the desk to get another one. She brought back another thin blanket so we decided to just turn up the heat a little. The Wi-Fi code we were given did not have enough characters to join the network and when we tried to call the front desk we discovered that the phone did not work. The shower was hot but the center knob to switch from tub to shower didn’t work and we had to do with a weak stream from the shower head while water poured out of the tub spigot. The cleanliness of the room was sub-par due to a unswept floor and very dirty grill on the heater. Even though the rate was cheaper than most in the area we probably would not stay again.

Staff was wonderful. The wonderful lady at the front desk was super. She went to check on my room to ensure it was ready and invited me to inspect room to ensure it was satisfactory to my taste. No one does this anymore. She provided a complete orientation of the hotel including breakfast times. They are going through renovations and I will be glad to visit them again in the near future. Thank You

Where do I start No maid service for 4 days. Bring towels down for new ones and they are washing them. Come back later. No wifi, cannot connect for 4 days. Sink faucet hardly any hot water. Shower starts fine but after 2 mins no hot water. Tried to check out early but no refund policy. Grab and go breakfast not good either. Place needs complete overhaul. Never again!

Booked hotel and front desk is horrible. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Room is gross. Look like a room that’s been used and trashed over and over again. Inside rooms prevent you from seeing if your vehicle is being broken into.

The best part of this was the staff. They were awesome and handles our complaints with dignity. But what else can you do when you aren’t the owner? This has been the worst stay I have ever had at ANY hotel and I’m a seasons world traveler used to “interesting” accommodations. My father is from this area, and we were in town for a family event. We didn’t check reviews as the Dutch Inn has always been above board even during times of recession. This stay, ummmm, has caused us to never return. To say this was the stay from hell, is an understatement. Here is why we will never return… To start, walking up the stairs to my room the hallway was littered with trash and has a full room trash can just out and about. Mind you we arrived at 2:50am… those halls should’ve been clean. When I saw that I said “what is going on here?” When I enters the room, the appearance was appalling. The bedspread has cigarette burns. The walls has writing. There was an enormous water crack in the wall. The floors…the filth of sticky film around sockets and the corner of the floors was nasty. My bathroom was not updated. The only cute thing was the original vintage tile of old Dutch scenery. But the scum on ghr tub floor, the hair on the tile walls and the faucets were broken. The tub was so bad I wouldn’t even get in WITH shower shoes. Also, there was NO hot water in my room or my parents rooms. We later learned the manager/owner regulates the hot water from an app from their phone. The fire alarm was also disassembled in my room. Final note - while my elder parents were sitting outside near the pool they witnessed a huge rat walking on the side walk like it was “home.” My parents were beyond unhappy. To light the candle to this horrible cake, the complaints from other guests were non-stop. While complaining to the front desk a guest checked out b/c vomit/sewage came up from the drain WHILE they were showering. Literally. While leaving today another guest mentioned to cleaning staff about a comforter was not on their room. Basically, save yourself and do not stay here. It breaks my heart to tell anyone to not stay here, and I have 40+ years of visiting. But this was horrible, disrespectful to the history of this building and honestly the community in which it has served for so many decades.
