Ramada by Wyndham Colombo

I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Colombo, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The room was extremely spacious, honestly one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in within Colombo. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The room included everything you might need—tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, toothbrushes, and more. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the TV, office table was huge as well. All the facilities such as the lights, air conditioning, and fan worked perfectly, so we had no issues at all. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor) and we had a nice view overlooking the Galle Face Hotel with a small view of the ocean. The location of the hotel is also excellent since it is very close to Galle Face Green and many other attractions in Colombo, which makes it very convenient for travelers. The check-in process was smooth, and they welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink. One thing to note is that the security procedure is quite strict. When we had guests visiting our room briefly, they had to provide their IDs and go through a security check. It was the first time I experienced this in a hotel, but it is understandable since it helps maintain safety. Although we booked bed and breakfast, we later asked if we could add the dinner buffet, but unfortunately it was already full. However, something very kind happened later that night. My mother wanted chicken congee, so we asked the room service staff if it was available. Even though it was not on the menu at that moment, they were kind enough to prepare and send us a bowl of chicken congee. It was a very thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a very wide variety of food, and everything we tried was delicious. My family has always liked the buffets at Ramada, and this time was no different. They also had live cooking stations, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything about the stay was great. The room, service, location, and food were all excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. It is absolutely worth the price and offers great value for money.

All staff very friendly and the place very convenient for vacation.

The restaurant is the weakest part of the hotel: the breakfast coffee was undrinkable unless we made a special request.. We ordered soup for room service and it took two hours to get to our room which was totally unacceptable.

The staff were good, always greeting the guests and even the buffet breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of traditional Sri Lankan food and Western food.

Hotel is in the heart of Colombo and very prominent location in Sri Lanka. I love the garden view. Food is excellent choices. Staff everyone is very courteous and well organise and presentable. All staff are consistently helpful. Special thanks to the restaurant staff Kamani ,Randil and Imesh. I will definitely comeback to this hotel when my next visit. My appreciation to all staff members during my stay.

Booked 2 Rooms requested connecting but hey had no availability on the day Service was excellent you can request a car to drop you at one of these groups nearby ******* were good Watch out for the door man he will offer youRs 10k playing credit at one of these ******* we did not find the offer worth it highly recommend Balies ****** much better

Had a lovely stay even with some hurdles that were handled professionally and that's why it is nothing to report about. Only unsolved problems are cause of critic. We had a good stay and loved the smell of towels and beddings. One thing... the beautiful oriental windows could be cleaned sometimes to better enjoy the great views. 💪😁

Located in the prime Colombo area with easy access to everything you need. The hotel has a lot of facilities and staff are considerate and caring. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Mould in the bathrooms is a problem in most Sri Lankan houses and hotels as no proper moisture extraction fans were in built and some wear and tear are obvious due to the age of the building.
