Grand Oriental Hotel

The management of the hotel failed because of the lack of careful management. The quality of the food was okay. The cleaning rooms were too old and had too much waste. The cleaning was not of high quality. I was very disappointed. And the bathroom on the first night was very thin and dirty. What's the use of the cheap price? I felt very unhappy. I asked to change rooms on the second day, but it was a lot of trouble. The special room was so pitiful. It was a waste of time to accept this enjoyment. It was so uncomfortable. . When we travel, we are looking for a hotel with good service, good deals and good rooms.

I chose this nearly 200-year-old hotel to experience it. Many celebrities have stayed here. It is old and has a lot of history. The breakfast is also very good. The location is excellent and it is convenient to go anywhere. There is also a large church behind it. Next door is a government depar**ent. The lobby downstairs is very large and has a vintage feel. There is a piano. However, the room decoration is very old and there are not enough sockets. Now is the electronic age. I need to charge my mobile phone, and the plug is not suitable. I borrowed it from the front desk, but the hotel didn't have it either. They said I had to buy it back. The air conditioner was leaking for a while. That night, I originally planned to go shopping in the city, but I went to the front desk several times because of the plug problem and the air conditioner problem. The problem was in room 338.

Colombo Fort Station is within Tobu area.It's a very lively area, so you can enjoy exploring the city during the day. The hotel is a very stately colonial-style building, and although it is old, you can see that they have made an effort to keep it as clean as possible. Mizumawari Uta is quite old, so it may be a bit of a concern for women. Considering the free breakfast, convenient location, and spacious rooms, I think this hotel offers great value for money.

The building feels very old, but in a good way, it feels like history! It's nice during the day, but at night it looked a little creepy and it was a little scary. Even when I went to bed, I slept with the light on a little! lol The bed was comfortable 👌 There are a lot of tuk-tuk touts in front of the hotel 💔 Overall I think it's a 3!
