Caribbean Paradise Eco-Lodge

We stayed at this location for two nights and had a great time; lots of beautiful colorful birds and wonderful silence, except for the sounds of the jungle and the howler monkeys in the distance, though occasionally taxi boats speeding past! The lodge has no windows but mosquito nets, so you are truly close to nature! Milene, the owner, picked us up in San José and guided us to Tortuguero, where we were welcomed upon arrival by Bismarck. We had a lovely stay! We did two excursions: one boat trip and a tour of the town of Tortuguero, both with the guide. The beds were very good, the shower fine, and the food simple but tasty! And truly Costa Rican.

Alojarnos en este hotel ha sido un verdadero privilegio. Está situado en pleno parque nacional de Tortuguero y es respetuoso con la naturaleza y el medio ambiente. Es un hotel pequeño, para pocos clientes distribuidos en diferentes cabañas lo que lo hace muy acogedor. La ubicación hace que en los jardines del hotel sea posible ver numerosos animales y se convierte en una experiencia maravillosa. Al ser pocos clientes alojarse en el hotel te permite tener una experiencia muy acogedora conociendo a los trabajadores del hotel y a los que trabajan con ellos. Las cocineras son muy amables, la comida está muy buena y se preocupan si tienes intolerancias alimentarias o alergias, preparándote otro plato diferente. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y son cómodas. Vismark, el gerente del hotel es muy amable y está dispuesto a ayudarte en todo momento. También conocimos a Javier, nuestro chofer de lancha, que nos llevó de un lado a otro con gran habilidad y simpatía. Por otro lado, también está Alexis, el guía de los tours, que conoce muchísimo sobre la fauna y la flora de costa rica y también sobre su historia. Otra ventaja de este hotel es que, al ser pocos clientes, los tours son muy personalizados y los viajes en lancha también. Quizá no es tan impresionante como otros hoteles de la zona, pero ninguno te puede ofrecer una experiencia tan "pura vida" como lo hacen ellos. Estamos encantados con el hotel, los trabajadores y los servicios, ha sido una bonita experiencia conocer Tortuguero a su lado.

Sehr einfache Anlage die in die Jahre gekommen ist. Sehr freundliche Menschen und kurze Wege nach Tortuguero. Der Pool wurde gerade renoviert wärend unseren Aufenthalts ! Frühstück war nur Landestüpisch. Mir fehlte mindestens noch Toast und Marmelade ! Das Abendessen war jedoch schmackhaft und gut gemacht. Ich würde diese Lodge mehr in einer Kategorie einer Jugendherberge einstufen !

Un emplacement fabuleux en lisière de la jungle, mais un établissement qui aurait besoin d'être rénové au regard de son prix.

Området og naturen omkring stedet var fantastisk, og vi så massere af dyr lige udenfor hoteldøren. Men hotellet virker meget slidt og ikke vedligeholdt. Maden var fin og lokal inspireret. Det var et venligt personale.

Die Unterkunft war gut und fair.Bismark der Empfangschef,ist wahrscheinlich eine Institution.Was er machen kann, macht er.Die Angebote für Tuoren sind ,je nach Geschmack und Wetter sehr solide.Was ich an dieser Stelle bemerken muss, wer über ******* bucht macht einen riesen Fehler. Völlig falsche Wegbeschreibung.Keine Kommunikation.Falsche Beschreibung der Örtlichen Gegebenheiten. Ich werde nie wieder mit ******* buchen. Oder hat jemand irgendwo in der Beschreibung gelesen.Das eine Anreise mit einem Auto garnicht möglich ist?

La posizione ottima in mezzo alla foresta !!mancanza totale di preparazione a fornire informazioni sulle escursioni da poter fare !struttura in completo abbandono!!stanze in condizioni di degrado totale !!cena a dir poco miserabile senza un minimo di rapporto professionale e informativo !!sicuramente uno dei posti peggiori che si possano trovare in questa zona !!
