Stayed on my own as part of our conference. Room was good but not 5 star. The view from the room was stunning and the bed was amazing. The staff were friendly but not upfront helpful. Friendly but forthcoming. Breakfast was great, fast and the staff gave priority to seating at the best view on a first come basis which was a nice, considerate touch. The main reception area is beautiful with high timber ceilings with beams and a huge fire. I'd stay again although not that close to shops but Uber was reasonably available and fast.

The surroundings are well kept and beautiful. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The food was good everything was well maintained and clean. The only thing that stood out in our stay was the lack of sound insulation between the floors and lack of interior lighting in the rooms. You could hear every step the people took on the floor above you, but overall, a good stay. I would go back

We haven't even arrived and I can't receive any communication or confirmation on reservations, spa, dinner, adding nights! What is going on with Wyndham or this location??? This is a FAR CRY from a good experience-- tomorrow is check in and hope I have a different experience

Beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. Enjoyed the hot tub & pool. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was good, but do recommend the cook-to-order options over the buffet items. Lovely location.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend for an event at the Broadmoor World Arena. The hotel is close, the rooms nice and the views and grounds are amazing. They have a good breakfast Buffett.

I was actually very excited to stay here. One, because it is considered a resort. Two, because the photos show beautiful grounds near the lake and mountain range views. Of course, location is gorgeous. However, the resort is severely outdated. The carpets were dirty, the bathroom had some black mold in some parts of the wall. The worst part, however, is food. One of the restaurants was closed for renovations. The other, and only, restaurant served food that was so terrible. Now, we are not fancy foodies, but we also do not eat fast food. We know good food, and we eat good food. Healthy, wholesome, tasty, well-prepared. And the food at this resort was neither. It was so bad that my child who LOVES meat, took a bite of the hamburger and said that she cannot eat it. I took two bites of tacos before realizing that pork was undercooked (which is a big no-no). My Mom only ordered an appetizer, and it was just disgusting. I don't remember what it was. Of course, we brought all this to the attention of staff. Yes, they comped the meal, which we did not eat, after some back and forth arguments that we should not be charged for something that is inedible. But, the experience was ruined. Positives: views, clean beds, quiet location, staff that was actually very nice, despite the negative experience with the food.
