Very great hospitality and customer service

The location was a little out of my way.

Pool heater broken ! Overcharged rate and breakfast. Staff at front desk were nice. Had to park car far away from entrance. Whirlpool tub not working in room and dirty yet still charged higher rate of room.

Hotel is close to Columbiana Center. The AC unit in the room was cracked and falling from the wall but still worked. Hotel offers restaurant and a la carte food. Overall, quiet, clean, and great location.

, Everything was great!!! Except no vending machines and nowhere to even buy a soft drink or snack I didn't want to have to leave and go to a store.

The grounds and inside the hotel were clean. It was quiet even though there was construction going on inside the lobby of the hotel and a bridal function going on as well during one night of our stay. The staff was very nice. I liked how there was a bar on site and the cooked-to-order breakfast was delicious. They also give you 2 complimentary bottles of water in your room, which is great because I drink water before bed every night. The AC works, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was spacious. It's also easy to find and the mall is within a couple miles with plenty of restaurants in the area, even some within walking distance of the hotel. I did not like how I booked a whirlpool room several days in advance and when I arrived at 8:30ish pm to check-in, I was informed that we were being switched to a handicapped accessible room because the whirlpool rooms were all booked up. I asked how when I booked way in advance and they told me they were just already overbooked when I originally booked our room. They could have easily notified me via text, email, or phone call a day or two prior to our arrival, or even earlier on our date of arrival, and we could have discussed options or found another room elsewhere considering that was the main reason we chose this hotel, however they did not contact me whatsoever. I contacted ******* customer support/reservations support and got that taken care of. HGI was also very helpful in the matter. I also was unaware of the construction..

All was nice. Sine construction on site but overall great stay.
