Worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. I travel on government business. Arrived 10 pm for late check in, no one at the front desk. No one appeared for 25 minutes: this is not a safe and acceptable business practice for a hotel. We went behind front desk to search for clerk, anyone could have ransacked hotel or accosted guests. Then room was unacceptable: mattress on bed was metal innerspring and uncomfortable, not a mattress. Shower door handles broken. Room was clean. Called front desk to complain, no answer. Went down to front desk and again front desk has no one there.
