My husband and I stayed at the lodge for three nights. We could not have chosen a better place. The lodge is beautiful, it is close to the downtown so you have access to restaurants in 10 minutes but it is also away from town so you have time to relax in the middle of the forest. Even though Lucille and Jonathan weren't there Nancy gave us the most amazing experience. We had a great time and we will be recommending this to everyone.

We chose this as a rest time between ski resorts, such a great decision to stay here and not in the generic Highway motels. The setting is delightful and the hosts so friendly, we felt as if we were staying with friends. A delicious homemade breakfast is a real bonus. Super comfortable beds with nice bed linens adds up to a restful sleep. Don’t miss this place if you’re planning on staying near Golden on the Trans-Canada Highway…

Cet endroit correspond exactement à ce que nous autres, européens, nous faisons comme idée d’un séjour dans un chalet en rondins au milieu d’une forêt enneigée et entourée de montagnes majestueuses. Tout était parfait : la propreté, l’amabilité des propriétaires, les délicieux petits déjeuners ainsi que la chambre spacieuse et très confortables. Je n’oublie également pas toutes ces attentions mises à notre profit par des hôtes extrêmement sympathiques et serviables.

As you roll up the driveway, you're greeted with an enclosure of mature trees and a stunning log home. The log home and accommodations on the property overlook the breathtaking backdrop of Moberly Mountain. The log home is spectacular, and the property provides peace and relaxation. The hot tub, robes and bonfire pit are excellent for guests.
Lucille's hospitality blew away my husband and me during our stay. Lucille is by far the BEST host we have ever had. She makes you feel at home and even helped book tickets for our excursion. The cherry on top was the waffle board Lucille made us in the morning!
We will never forget our incredible stay at Moberly Lodge.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights while in the Golden area. It is absolutely lovely, welcoming, comfortable and truly gorgeous. It was so peaceful and the hot tub was awesome for soothing sore muscles after hiking. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. It was perfection. We would highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I had an amazing three days at Moberly Lodge. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and provided great breakfasts on each day. The venue is super comfortable and homely and the location just incredible!

Wow! A truly authentic log cabin experience in a stunning location. The cabin was very comfortable and well appointed and the team at Moberly lodge very friendly and helpful with local tips. Highly recommend staying here.
