This is a very clean stop on the side of the highway about 40 minutes outside Houston. The parking lot is fenced and brightly lit. Good cable tv. Cost for 2 beds was $90. Safe enough- there is nothing around but hotels and foods. There is a grocery store and Walmart a couple blocks away. No breakfast really, just one individually Saran wrapped slice of white bread. No cream for coffee.

The staff did a great job of trying to maintain the rooms and keep them clean, but it is SE Texas, and bugs are inevitable. I found two dead crickets in the room later at night that were NOT there when I checked in, so they had obviously sprayed for bugs earlier. The hotel is close to the highway, so there is some highway noise. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.
