BLOWN AWAY - First-ever experience with a Drury hotel and I'm honestly so shocked. We travelled with our two toddlers and it was so enjoyable. (That, I promise you, is a feat.) Everyone we interacted with our whole stay was fantastic. A maintenance person we met in the elevator, Diana, noticed it was my son's birthday. She asked what kind of snacks he liked, then delivered a birthday surprise to our room. And that was within 20 minutes of arriving! The front desk was gracious when we had guests coming to visit, allowing them complimentary parking, and allowed us to park all day of check out. Every question we had for them was met with positivity and attentiveness. I saw reviews saying it was well staffed while booking and they weren't kidding. This team handled breakfast with hundreds of people attending an event all at once like pros. We didn't make it in time to truly enjoy the afternoon snacks, but that was only because we didn't know how great they'd be. (I was imagining some chips and cheese plates but it was a full-on meal.) We will be arranging our schedule for it next time. Honestly, blown away. I have had so many negative hotel brand experiences—but the Drury won me over. I won't stay in another chain again.
