Staybridge Suites COLUMBUS-AIRPORT by IHG

The room was spacious and nice. The pool and gym were not as clean as they looked in the photos. The service from the reception staff and hotel staff was very good.

Good location near the airport with quick access. However the rooms feel ready for an update, from tv that you could not stream from to water damage on bathroom ceiling. The staff was nice and it was good value on graduation weekend. They also had some outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine.

The property was maintained. I did discover one roach in my bathroom but it was dead. They did mess up my room informing me when I got there that the room I originally reserved was no longer available. They did compensate for one complimentary room and the other room I paid for. So me and my friends were not all together as well expected but it worked out. There is no weekend cleaning staff FYI.

Had plenty of space in the room and bed was comfortable . Would stay here again Hotel was close to downtown Columbus . Would stay here again when in the area.

The suite itself was equipped efficiently. We were there for a volleyball tournament only stayed one night however cooking is available with all things available in the suite.

I chose this hotel because it has 4.1 stars on google reviews and seemed outwardly to be a bit nicer than the others at the CMH airport. It was a pretty terrible experience overall. Immediately after leaving the lobby, you can tell this place needs a lot of work. The parking lot is completely torn up with potholes and the flickering lamps didn't help make it look less trashy. The elevator was out, which wasn't too much of an issue, and they made sure to notify me of that. More importantly, the hallways smelled terrible. I don't know what the issue was, the rooms themselves didn't smell bad. They were, however, very dated. The room was very disappointing, you could tell that they took the website pictures in a slightly updated suite from the best angles in a lot of light, but in reality it looks very drab like you're in a motel from the 70s. The worst part was that there was no hot water for more than day after I checked in. Admittedly there was a sign at the font desk saying this, but I didn't see it at first and only found out when i went to try to take a shower at like 11 pm after traveling almost 12 hours. Went down to the desk and they said it would be fixed the next day and didn't offer any alternate accommodations or compensation. The next day it still wasn't fixed by 4 pm and I had to go to a dinner so I had to drive 30 minutes to a cousin's house to take a shower, which was absurd. I think something like hot water is important enough that you should automatically be compensating people, and looking for alternate places for them to bathe nearby.

No Hotel shuttle (out of order), the elevator was stopped (OUT OF ORDER), very old furniture, NOT EVERY DAY CLEANING (room)!

The breakfast was better on the last stay. Sausages looked under cooked. Fountain machines did not work. Children were running through the hallway. Overall the staff was friendly. I didn’t like the sliding door for the bathroom in the room.

Great staff and room was spacious and very clean. I like how there is everything I needed in the kitchen area. Had a nice pool also
