We enjoyed our stay while visiting Columbus Junction. The hotel is a bit dated, as can be expected in such a small town. But the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. We would definitely stay again.

Really ******. DIRTY room. Rooms dont lock due go faulty electronic locks. Msnsger unlocks room esch time you lock them. No closets. Toilets too low. No elevator. Only motel in 30 miles. Wall plate missing. Open wiring.

When i got there to check in they had lost my reservation and even with the confirmation number they were unwilling/unable to do anything for me. I had to find and book another room. I wasn't sure if I was going to find another hotel that was available that wasn't going to be $200 to $300 a night.

It only owned the hotel for a month, he had done a lot of positive changes but there is an off a lot more to go. I believe the hotel had been neglected for quite some time. The carpet was new in the paint and the rooms were new, but the one ply toilet paper and the one bulb above the mirror in the bathroom was a bit disappointing. It was a nice enough place to spend the night but I wouldn’t have wanted to spend more than one night there, The bed wasn’t very comfortable, silver lining, you got exfoliated with your washcloth and towel.

My wife reserved a room for her brother. No one would ever answer the phone. The only way she was able to make a reservation was to call a number. An additional charge showed up on our credit card statement for $19.87. Really???? BEWARE
